Where did I say that? Reread it again, and come back to me. In fact, I'll sum it up from my original post; I should reiterate I don't expect us to splash it all at once this window. That would be stupid. But something, please!

Then maybe the club shouldn't be so public in that the "funds will be used to refresh the squad" Here's what they said on the Tino announcement. "Although disappointed to lose Livramento, the club chose to accept Newcastle’s latest bid as it both represented fair value for a player of his ability while the fee will also support the wider rebuilding project within the squad this summer." And JWP. "While the club is naturally disappointed to see him leave, we understand his desire to continue pursuing his career both in the Premier League and on the European and international stages, and are satisfied that we have now received appropriate compensation for a player of his quality and importance, which can further support the club’s own plans in the remainder of the transfer window." Call me naive, but from those statements, you would very much expect the funds to be used to fund incomings. Instead we're getting loans & frees rather than investing the money & getting permanent deals. We've seen no sign that those fee's are being used to support the rebuilding project. I should reiterate I don't expect us to splash it all at once this window. That would be stupid. But something, please!

I mean, we've made good money this summer, yet we seem reliant on loans & free transfers for incomings.

Ballard is jokes. We have to give him an opportunity for the seniors. 2 hattricks in 2 games of football is rridiculous and very deserving of him moving up.
-
Ah well, at least we know what Wilcox thought when MLT scored against him. Truly inspiring question.
-
Can we be more friendly to away teams ... What a waste of a question.
-
Where? Because a couple of weeks ago he said this: "I've come back to play a big part for Southampton this season."
-
Ballard needs to be in the 1st team. Sack Mara off and give his squad place to Dom. More than ready to step up.
-
Yeah, but she's good to look at
-
Not that I expect him to start, but I thought Doyle looked promising in a CM role on Tuesday night. Got an assist and was always trying to get the ball forward.
-
About time these "footballers" were called out publicly for the shit they are.
-
The following need to be banished from the squad. McCarthy Bree Lyanco Djenpo Mara Onuachu Give meaningful gametime to the likes of Doyle or SAA. Our only bright sparks from the Gillingham "match"
-
Dibling is squad number 33. Looks like Bree-Lyanco-Perraud-Meghoma as a back 4.
-
Hopefully tomorrow then!
-
Anyone else not had their tickets through yet? Classic Saints, cutting it a bit fine again.
-
For the U21s, yes. Not seen in the 1st team.
-
Big player for us this year. Fantastic we've convinced him to stay, as Bompey were sniffing.
-
What a fucking din. "Hence not naming him in the original tweet" ... but did so anyway. Then got called out and then won't name another name - presumably because he doesn't actually know the name.
-
Leeds are in for Harwood-Bellis - you'd hope we would be too if he's interested in dropping back down. On Stephens, Martin loves him. I'd be very surprised if he went anywhere, but at the moment, id say he's a pretty nailed on starter. Im happy with that.
-
What is going on with Vokins? That's a name I forgot. As far as I remember, he had a miserable loan spell at bloody Woking last season, couldn't get in their team and we recalled him in January. But no-one has seen him since and he hasn't played a minute for the u21s.
-
Thierry Small too. Neither are anywhere near the 1st team it seems, yet both came with big hype and promise.

Onuachu hasn't had a look in. Not injured as he's been training so he's presumably one. Salisu seems to have disappeared as well.

£25m is fucking comical. Must be a permanent April Fools in London.
