I've quite liked the look of Payne when I've seen him play, and indeed, he was making inroads to the first team last season. First start away at Cambridge, got an assist and looked good but not been seen since. Had a failed loan at Eastleigh where he came back early, but also signed a new contract with us. No sign of him this pre-season, either for the 1st team or the B-team, so no idea what's happened to him.

But, the morons on Twitter were saying how he's refusing to train and is forcing through a move ... how can this be he's now back in training? It's almost as if an injury has cleared up ...

They really do. Already I've seen rumours (based on nothing) of Djenepo refusing to play (he was ill), and S Armstrong forcing through a move by not training (he's injured)

Not quite. He missed the end of last season due to being away, and reported back on Day 1 of pre-season with the other non-internationals. Not sure whats happened since.

No, but I am jealous of who they're bringing in. Doyle, Coady & Winks would all improve us (especially knowing the likes of Salisu, Kotchap & Lavia will be off)

Watts is out of contract, and presumably will be released. Could see Simeu potentially stepping up into a backup role, but can't see a place for the rest of them. Vokins is a weird one - went on loan to Woking (in the conference) last summer, couldn't get in their team, we recalled him in January but he hasn't been seen or heard from since.

I voted for Elyounoussi. Amazing season.

Because SR, in their wisdom, don't think there's much talent in our academy. Real slap in the face and probably why a lot of the academy staff are leaving. And why a lot 0of the players want out.
