  1. Starmer's broom. Like Trigger's but the bristles have been replaced by MPs and senior party officials. Are the adults still in the room or are they the ones that have left / been fired?
  2. Does that extra income pay for Ross Stewart's padded physio's bench?
  3. Is anyone able to summarise what is wrong with America?
  4. What's Prince Andrew got to do with anything? Allegedly.
  5. Not yet, we're just over a third of the way through the month! Once the record is confirmed I'd be delighted to.
  6. Looks like September is on for a record breaking wettest month ever!
  7. Won't happen. He'll be on the VAR van in a week.
  8. Then chatgp is way out. If we aren't running catering then we have zero staff costs there. So staffing is what - 4 or 5 ground staff, some ticket office workers (5?), some stewards (15?), additional staff (some will be salaried) so let's say another 20 in total. All working maybe 4 to 6 hours "extra" (let's play safe and call it 6 hours), so that's 40 workers working 6 hours = 240 hours. Some of those will be on minimum wage (or close to it), so add on NI, pension etc and that's a cost of about £18 per hour (let's call it £20), others will be on more, so let's call them £40 per hour. Take an even split and we have : 120 @ £20 = £2400 120 @ £40 = £4800 Total = £7400. That still leaves circa £18.5k for other costs, which leaves a healthy profit. I'd be happy to accept chat GPs figure for a men's match with the whole stadium open, hospitality running etc, but not for a women's game with 4k spectators.
  9. Ridiculous. 60+% GP on food and 80+% GP on drinks (probably closer to 90% as it will mainly be soft drinks) would easily cover the staff costs. Groundspeople will be salaried so won't cost any extra - maybe a few quid for some water if they use more than normal and maybe a little grass seed, but see above about GP percentages. Lighting won't be significant in the grand scheme of things. I'd be astonished if the club was 'losing' money on women's games played at SFC - even with 4,000 spectators, which may seem paultry by football ground standards but would be an incredible figure for most 'gigs' which would have way higher staffing costs to cover.
  10. People in glass houses, something, something....
  11. Credit where it's due. Apparently only one child was killed in the latest Israeli bombing raid and that was the son of the Hamas leader, so they're getting better at not killing children (for now).
  12. Seems like you've found a Brexit benefit - not having to bail France out
  13. Meh. We already finance Goztepe and Velencienne so why not the women's team as well? After all, What's the point of being net spend champions (again) if you don't splash some cash on shit that doesn't benefit the team!
  14. Might they be better off protesting against the Government for proscribing the terrorist group?
  15. Ludicrous! There's nothing the current Government can do to stop Reform winning the next General Election because thick people something something.
  16. Or (potentially) fraud - depending on what the paperwork reveals.
  17. Evasion IS illegal. Avoidance IS NOT illegal. The two things are different.
  18. It's closer to £175k isn't it for a minister? Besides she made a mint when she sold her right to buy. Levelling up innit.
  19. Snouts in the trough. 'twas ever thus.
  20. Is that what they called the foot of the PL last season?
