And another one https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-beds-bucks-herts-59089421 Looks like the place to be, if you're a sick pervert / rapist / murderer and also want to be a police officer, join the Met, they'll have anyone!

What I'm getting from the 'we believe' part is that they believe the PL can and will withold PL money for not doing as they are told. Not really a surprise that they didn't include that bit in their 'official' statement is it?

The United Kingdom and the Death of Boris Johnson as we know it.

Meh, they all look the same in winter, cold, wet, grey. -
How many 'best in the worlds' have we had?

I think he may well also have the world's best right arm! The distance from right shoulder to elbow is about half the distance of elbow to wrist which is all capped off with the wonderful alien hand perched on top. An absolute belter of a statue which surely must be the best in the world - Ronaldo's would have been stiff competition though if they hadn't just stopped at the head.... -

Double checked as it's been a while since I dealt with the 'AMPs' and the water companies are supposed to pay for infrastructure as well as BAU repairs, although Ofwat needs to sign off on the five year infrastructure packages....

Andy Gray - Best Groundsman in the world, ever. -
Pretty sure that the major investments in the water network are all government funded anyway - the AMP framework - whereas business as usual repairs and maintenance are funded by the water companies from household bill payments... So, if the infrastructure isn't fit for purpose that goes back to the funding from central government...

Only three more days and Ralph is out and Howe is in. Not a squeak from the club, you'd think they would have let something slip by now surely - after all, local journalists have known about it for weeks now....

Isn't devolution of parliament democracy at it's finest?

Sadly, these news pieces are no longer shocking. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-59050083

Whatabout, whatabout, whatabout.

Ah yes, a statement about the shortage of lorry drivers. Still not found anything that says the shortage of lorry drivers is due to Brexit then - but presumably they didn't bother going back to the EU given the shortage of lorry drivers over there
-
Still got me on ignore then
-
To be fair it was more the interview with the Spanish truck driver who incidentally cited pretty much the same reason as all the UK drivers as to why he no longer wanted to driver lorries. Presumably Brexit is also causing the US to suffer a driver shortage as well? https://www.ft.com/content/a7283077-69de-4bb2-9d0a-1c68090d719f *presumably the FT is on your list of acceptable sources

That's cool, we all know who the rightful owner is

Bless, still stuck with blaming Brexit for 'supply issues'. Still blindly unwilling to accept that lorry driver shortages (I'm assuming that's what you mean by supply issues) isn't a Brexit issue. https://www.express.co.uk/news/world/1511993/HGV-driver-spain-nightmare-Europe-crisis-shortage

Is it a need / necessity or is it a want / desire?
