To be fair, I'd say that Blackpool are a crisis club. We seem to be in a much better position than they are, ergo we aren't a crisis club. We've sold three players and signed two. It's not the end of the world!

That's simply not true! Many of them are now the proud owners of virtual penalty spots which are fully funded. Some of them are even awaiting the delivery of their digital certificate, yes that's right, digital certificate! confirming that they have 'sponsored' a square metre of the academy training pitch - for clarity, they won't own the square metre, but will of course own the digital certificate!

Is this the year that Corpse will finally be resurrecting his transfer gloating / rumour section? Maradonna was in the Maracana last night but couldn't make out who he was chatting to - must have been one of the trust members though...
-
Lol. That is quite amusing. Even more so if the private message reading bit is true

You're mixing up recruitment agency with high street agency... As previously said, find an agency that specialises in sales recruitment and give them the job to look at. IF they ask you to pay up front, avoid like the plague! A decent agency will charge no fee until the role has been filled - then you are looking at 15-20% of the basic salary, but ensure this is agreed up front. You can negotiate lower fees of course, however the lower you go, the less interest the agency will pay towards finding the best candidate! Appoint an agency today and you should be able to shortlist candidates by the end of the week and interview next week.... Is the time and hassle of looking at CVs worth the cost of using an agency is the question to ask? Trust me, you put an ad up on a decent job board for a sales role and you will probably have to sift through a hundred or so CVs in order to find two or three good candidates... A final piece of advice, if you are going to do it yourself, don't put a phone number on the advert or you WILL get every agency calling you to tell you they have the best candidates waiting for you to look at!

Seems pretty drastic but it's your marriage I guess

This business of players going on strike

However, 'frustration of contract' will ultimately end in 'rescinding of contract'. Once that happens the player can go to whoever wants him as he will be a 'free agent' without a contract. The smart play is still to cash in and get £25m for someone who doesn't want to be at the club and hope that he enjoys his three games of champions league football - watching from the bench! -
Do you also honestly believe that he will have said yes to the sales without having a pretty good idea of who he wants to bring in to replace them? SFC can't win at the moment can they! Some people on here need to take a trip to a dessert island with no innernetz connectionz and come back mid August when the season starts.

Lol. Well at least we can look forward to the club calendar having more than half the players still at the club by Christmas

Lol. Pretty sure nobhead neil was trumpeting the fact that Terry the builder rescued the antique chairs from a skip, took pity on them like a lonely child, lost on a deserted street and then whisked them off to his lockup to keep them safe. He must have missed out the bit where one of his building crew threw them in the skip in the first place!

Certainly isn't the first dirty skate b8stard to not honour his pledge

Im not interested in selling my support. I am a SAINT FOR LIFE

I had an offer come in about 30 mins after the Man U game. So far I'm keeping schtum on that one, just in case something better comes along. -
Because then it is classed as 'youth training' or 'apprenticeship' so they don't have to pay them minimum wage. Who would have thought the dirty skates would find a way around the country's tax laws

I like the way that they avoid mentioning any dates for when this months worth of free work will happen. It's almost as if they assume all 16-17 year olds within the septic isle will have no job and no further education to attend!!!
-
A little bit more work, but dig a channel from hotel to aviary, put in a network cable with appropriate trunking to ensure it is kept nice and safe and connect it old skool using a wire....
-
I imagine that if a huge amount of weight were put on interviews, then Tim Sherwood would be out of a job forever!!
-
Horrendous idea. Sadly, these kind of tactics would make us no better than our inbred cousins down the road. We signed the contract, we have to honour it! However, doesn't stop us demanding more from the scousers to ensure WE get an amount we are happy with
-
Perhaps Matt Le Tiss can answer that one for him???

So, now the England team - and AL - are flying off to the World Cup today, does that mean that this transfer rumour will now come to an end? Obviously Liverpool would want to do a medical before signing on the dotted, which seeing as AL is going to be on another continent for a good three weeks isn't going to happen. Or, does it mean that a good world cup showing from AL would put another £10m on the price tag? Would that be considered as 'good business' or are we still up the creek without a paddle?

Blackmore: Players angry with Board & Reed
Weston Super Saint replied to Saint Charlie's topic in The Saints
A no ambition 'yes man' would surely have said 'yes' by now wouldn't he? -
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27371960 So, if we don't accept the offer by Sunday, then he won't be a scouser next season? Also, does anyone know if the sell-on clause to Bompey is true? It's sounds unrealistic that a 12 year old would have had a 25% sell-on clause included in any deal, but I guess this was signed and sealed in the Lowe era so anything's possible?
-
Really? A joke amount? Personally I think £4m for RL is a good price! He was always going to walk if Liverpool came knocking due to him being a scouser and supporting them. Although he has been VERY good for us, I think he is now 'past his best'. Don't worry, this happens to every footballer at some stage in their career - even Giggs could only last until he was 40!!! I would take £4m any day of the week for RL and certainly don't think it is a 'joke' amount!! The key test will be who he replaces him with - if he can get Danny Ings for £4m, then I'd consider that to be an excellent bit of business!!
-
You realise that when her father passed away, he was a BILLIONAIRE - TWICE OVER!!. Do you really think that asset stripping for a mere £50m is worth the time, effort and grief, when it is likely she will earn probably at least this amount every year in interest alone - not counting her income from the multitude of other businesses she now [co]-owns!!!

Is that before or after admins 1,2,3,4 & 5?
