I thought Jones said that McCarthy had sprained his ankle. Must have been a hell of a sprain to keep him out this long.

Edam better be good

That's the one

Am not even sure there is any thinking at the club behind the scenes anymore. This season has been an utter shitshow for so many reasons.
-
Surely if you are going to replace Perraud and switch KWP over to the left, we could have done better than a right back from Luton? This just screams to me that the club have accepted relegation and the process of rebuilding for next season is underway

Read an article on Newsnow Southampton page written by a Newcastle fan for their fanzine or whatever. Freely admits he was sat in the Itchen South end, even put what block and row! Also says that he was surrounded by his mates in other rows behind him.

We are a Premier League club in name only.
-
It was a bit tongue in cheek, but I wouldn't put it past him doing that. Seems to like fucking around with the fullback positions.
-
Out of interest, what constitutes a fair crack?
-
Until he starts ahead of KWP in the next league game.

With the greatest respect, its not

You have just got to be a club plant surely? Failing that Nathan Jones
-
So, a right back from Luton Town was our first target? You really have got to laugh at the pathetic shambolic club we have become

Apologies, I thought Edozie was only 18 himself. -
I shudder to think who it will be

Southampton 0-1 Newcastle League Cup Semi Final 1st Leg

I was at the game thanks, like I said above just my opinion. I agree that he broke up play and was effective on that side of things. His passing was pretty poor in my opinion. I guess some will counter that by saying its not his job to play defence splitting passes, and just to keep it simple. He makes more passing errors than he makes passes connect with a team mate. Again, just my opinion. -
Happy to add a booking fee onto each purchased ticket though

Hasn't got a fucking clue list? Like i said above, game is about opinions, you have your one, I have mine. Football and discussion boards would be pretty shit if everyone agreed all the time. -

Diallo had a blinder?? Not sure what you were watching, but he was awful. Broke the play up on the odd occasion, passing was absolutely woeful. He sums us up at the moment, limited player in a limited team, playing for a limited manager. -
Ralph was often slated for playing players out of position. This is still happening under Jones. Salisu and Lyanco playing as full backs. Am not a massive Perraud fan, but at least he is a natural left back.

We are still shit

New owners. Same old shit. What or who is the common denominator?

Play him against Blackpool this weekend. See what he has got. We did that with Small against Coventry last year. He was so far out of his depth that he was never seen again. If he smashes it up then we know what we are looking at. Personally don't see the issue with playing him. He's only a year younger than Edozie, and he's not exactly been a relevation. -
I think we could have and should have done a lot better than employe Jones. I happen to believe that a more experienced manager with top flight experience would have got a bit more out of some of these players. Yes, they are limited, but when you have limited manager in charge of them, it's not going to end well.
