  1. Great draw! Lots of all prem ties as well. Great time for a cup run! Now lets get some more points on the board so we can have some fun.
  2. When it weakens your chances of staying up.......
  3. Why does it feel like we are always desperate to get these deals done? A loan with a fee is a shit deal. If it was a player we couldn't use like Theo, I'd understand, but Jan can be okay on his day. Yes he can, for every atrocious game for us he's had a very good game and scored some big goals! (mainly in 2-3 defeats) lol But to jettison him to villa to save us a few quid is stupid, and it makes me wonder what our plan and budget really is. Hold tight, let them force us to say yes with a permanent deal.
  4. Is this the match thread? I couldn't tell...... -------------------------------------------- Can Ten Hag convince his team to run for the full 90 against little ol' us in a early kick off on Saturday, like they did so well against their fiercest rivals last weekend? If he can, and they are onboard we could be in trouble. But if secret agent Ronny & boy wonder Shaw have laid unsettled poison this week, we could well spoil the revival. I'm not brave enough to predict a home win, but I reckon it will be a good fight!
  5. Moi brace and Walcott assist......to cement their legacy. But, I'll take that right now. Into the next round!
  6. When a team performs like us, under Ralph's inconsistent stewardship, its never too early to ask the question; are 3 teams worse than us. I've been wondering this throughout the pre-season. I've always liked RH, but I have started to lose faith in him and his stubborn decisions. Some of our dreadfully long bad runs almost deserved relegation. The awful records we have set under his guidance still make me cringe. But. We have added five players that look to have brought something new and invigorated to the table. I'm really excited to see these new guys progress, and start pushing Walcott & others (not going to bother naming names, but lots of them should not still be here) out of our squad. From what I have seen in the last three games genuinely fills me with optimism. Its not about the three worst teams now, its about how well we can do with this new group.
  7. Some inspirational Brodgers quotes from over the years to get your Monday off to a good start! ‘I’m not arrogant enough to think that I will be in a job through anything,’ Rodgers said, after Liverpool’s 3-1 defeat at Palace. ‘Any manager will tell you, you have to win games and you have to get results. And especially after how we have been developing as a football club. ‘I’ve got a great communication line with the owners, and we are always open and honest with each other. But ultimately you have to get results, and you have to perform. ‘In my first year here, we maybe didn’t get the results but we were performing well. ‘Owners and directors, chairmen and chief executives, they have to see development on the field, and I think barring this period, our development has been very good and fast. ‘But there’s no doubt that as a manager you have to get results, and that will support you and give confidence to the owners.’ Now, where's that one about ambition?...............
  8. Pretty sure we have a sneaky bid still on the table for Drogs........
  9. We need to keep Che, just so we can bump this thread and snigger at the football experts who want 12M for him.
  10. Losing to us on a frequent basis since that battering must make it very disappointing for them. Long may it continue.
  11. Fuck me, I can't take this much more. I( love the buzz but the drain is sucking me dry.
  12. I've stuck up for JB a lot while he's been disappointing. I've had very little back in the last 12 months. £15M, no problem, we will have someone as incompetent but twice as committed to come in at the drop of a hat. Sell sell sell
  13. That squad must be rotten to the core. Kinda feel sorry for them. Hope we can pile the misery on tomorrow. Nine would be fitting, one will do!
  14. There goes Mike Deans unblemished record while in control of VAR. At least he had super long run before the first gremlin appeared.
  15. Levy did very well to shift Dele on. Everton are going to have big trouble removing him. Who okay'd that deal! Barmy.
  16. How on earth were we not on that list of 'losing points table', did they just forget us? I thought we'd be top!
  17. I hope he gets his wish, in the next couple days. And Maddison, don't stand in his way, or he's bound to score on Saturday!
  18. The Forest result concerns me. This season it feels like there is actually real potential down the bottom. All the teams have good attributes. This could be our biggest fight to remain in the epl since our return. Actually, nah, nothing will be as precarious as that Swansea game! But, it could be very close.
  19. Tuch is lucky Conte didn't hit him. Don't do that shit, unless you want a fight. Nor pinching or scratching little bitch.
  20. Last chance saloon for Ralph next weekend. If he hasn't learnt from yesterday, then there really is no hope going forward. I hope this isn't dragged out. Let us move on, one way or another.
  21. Thank goodness the newbies all look good. I'm looking forward to them forcing their way into the team. We need change now more than ever.
  22. Please can today be some masterplan where our fresh subs win this game for us. Please.
  23. Yeah, I've kind of mixed them together, but they both have merits of their own. Someone is getting canned this weekend. Ralph Steve Frank No way all three survive.
  24. As we fast approach mid August, you just know we are overdue a sacking already. So, who's going first, Stevie G or the Ralph. One of them is walking the plank right now. Can't see either of them saving themselves this weekend, but I reckon Everton's board are braver than ours.
  25. Celebrated his goals harder than any other player. He really did make everything so enjoyable......even England!
