I've watched quite a bit of Leeds recently. This new guy isn't going to turn that bunch into the into anything special, they just won't be shipping 3/4 each week. They'll survive, but only because of Brentfords generosity.

We had two red cards rescinded last season. One of them led to a historic defeat. I don't recall us getting an apology. Man up Everton, its var......its always been shit.

I'm hoping the 2nd half will be more energy sapping than that. Both teams just mincing about with little concern. Come on, tackles, knocks, cards....all of it. Both these teams are in our focus now.

Unpopular opinion alert. I was totally bewildered yesterday when Christian Erikison came on. Down to ten, being run ragged, and here's the good news story the football world has been waiting for. I'd be pretty unhappy with Thomas Frank if I were a Brentford fan. They are in free fall, and he looks a bit clueless. And pandering to this news story isn't going to help them. Eddie Howe even saying what a nice moment it was. Yeah, 2-0 up playing against a shit team down to ten, I bet you were in dreamland! I'm glad CE is well, and still has a football career, that is great news. But what a circus yesterday was. Tin pot team going down.........

I hope the players are sensing just how big of a opportunity this game is. Get through this round and we'll give anyone a game in the next. No fear. Looking forward to watching WHU struggle against Wolves tomorrow while we enjoy our extra long rehabilitation. This game is ours to lose. There's enough of a gap between these two games to continue with the same team. We should should let the momentum continue. The cup game is massive. We have to put all our eggs into that basket, because we look in a great position to upset a big team. After these games are out the way, then shake the team up for the Villa game. This is a massive six days for us. Come out of this well, and we are going to have a very exciting end to the season.

To be fair to FF, he has played over 120 games for us. I thrust him far more than the other two. But if Alex has that new contract, I can't see us doing any big business for a keeper this summer.

Ings really made a foolish decision. Turning down that record contract from us was a big mistake. We know he loves playing, and loves scoring goals. So now he gets an extra 10%. But he's out of favour. He struggles to break into the team, and can't add to his goals tally. He looks annoyed. A penny for his thoughts right now, I bet its regret!

Nothing wrong with that at all. As soon as we missed out on the L1 play-offs, I wanted rid of the strongest team in preperation for our next assault. Its only natural. What makes it more important this year is, Newcastle will affect all of the transfer fees this summer for the whole of the EPL. That will cause us trouble. If they get a year in the wasteland, it would be good for football in general.

I do hope Chelsea and Broja recognise the potential problems for his great return. This lad will not be happy with ten minute cameo's for half a season. He looked thoroughly hacked off yesterday when he came off, then had to watch an old man steal a bit of his goal scoring glory. He is nowhere near the finished article, and they will not put up with the rawness we are witnessing. (Not a dig, I really like the lad) I really hope he makes a well thought out decision on his future. It would be awful to watch Chelsea kill off his desire, and ruin his development.
