In Japan zero limit. Plus if I get in a car with someone I know has been drinking I am just as accountable (drink driving carries a 10 year prison sentence). As far as I know drink driving is not a major issue here. Personally if I am driving I don't drink anything. If I have had more than two or three pints the night before I don't drive the next day. Although granted in countries where public transport works that is easier and cheaper than countries where it doesn't, so makes the decision much easier.

Personally if we are serious about going up and competing don't think we should be trying to sign any back up players to our current squad, should be signing players who will take the place of any current first teamer. No exceptions. Having said that there are some positions that we should prioritise over others

I would go with Hammond followed by Jos

Emporium Bar Singapore showing the game tomorrow

As far as I know, Orchard Towers is still there at least -
Hmm curiously goal tv's schedule shows the reading v west ham game on live when we should be playing, so could be they have screwed up and it is a mis-print
-
Didn't see it in the listings but Goal TV channel 1 shows some championship games. Emporium in Ann Siang road (near club street) has goal TV as it is run by a big Rangers fan and it is the only way to watch Scottish football in Singapore as well. HTH

Agree. Steve Moran would be a better choice in this category

Well pleased

Brighton at home in Poyet's first game
-
but we also have to play five of them at home as well between now and the end of the season. Still think it comes down to focusing on the next game, nothing more. Top ten will change. Some teams will break in some teams will fall away, some teams will come on a late charge apart from us and the bottom three, most teams can move up or down by three or four places on a single win or defeat. Focus on Saturday, win that and then focus on the next one simple as that. Not going to worry about anyone else. If we average one win in every two games between now and the end of the season we are up. Nigel currently has a 70% win ratio.

Malcolm Waldron played for both us and poopey. Was one of my favorite players when I was growing up

I clearly remember hearing the whistle when watching on the telly, even commented to the wife that if the keeper was not ready, Harper did take an age fannying around and thought he should have been booked to be honest. If there had been no whistle as some are suggesting then surely Ricky would have been booked for some infringement or other
-
Cork for me to. Ricky, Hammond and Frazer were also immense. Certainly looked if Fonte had his best game for a while as well.

I agree ref was ****. We had the whole game live on telly. In the first half the fouls on Guly and Lambert were definite pens. There was also the handball that he did not give. Have to say that would have been harsh if given as not a lot the defender could do to get out of the way and I would have been ****ed off if a decision like that had gone against us. No way was the first penalty he gave a penalty good yard outside the box as others have stated. Still unsure of the 2nd one as well, even in slow motion not sure if Ricky was tripped or if he slipped. As for the Hammond incident quite clearly shows the Dean had pushed the ball past Harper and then got clipped by the keeper. should have been another penalty not a booking for Dean. As for the retake of the penalty, Harper took ages getting back to his line, the ref blew his whistle and Lambert duly dispatched it. Don't see why it should have been retaken. Great retake by Ricky though. One of the best penalties I have seen.

Just seen that the Brighton game is going to be broadcast live on Goal TV 1 in Asia

Unfortunately one of the problems with democracy at the moment is that politicians that are relying on a popular vote are in charge of fiscal policy. Budgets should be like judiciary and should be independent and not under the control of someone whose position is secured by popular vote

Lived in both Edinburgh and Glasgow. Would pick Edinburgh every time. Having said that I did enjoy Glasgow. Good night out. Nice people. Would certainly pick it over some places I have lived

I downloaded a program called "pod to PC." they have a trial version that is free but pretty limited. Full version is only about $20. Worked a treat for me

Too young to remember myself but the fact that nearly 40 years after the fact people talk about it in awe just goes to show what greats both fighters were RIP
