My understanding is you are correct, but most proffessional contracts run to 30th June, hence anybody we might sign who is contracted to another club can't officially sign a new contract until 1st July. Anybody know what time the press conference is ?

Few I can think of, Speedie and Dixon as a replacement for Shearer and a prediction by some people I know at the time they would go on to score more goals than Shearer. Rudi can't believe all the hype surrounding him. On the plus side Jimmy Case was probably the best 30k odd we ever spent. Also seem to remember we signed a Keith Cassels from Oxford as a big signing with a certain Mark Wright, a young central defender included as a bit of a make weight in the deal. Cassels was rubbish but Wright ended up doing ok for us ;-)

I would have thought any decent player with any ambition would be saying. "OK if I sign that makes nine players you got, who else you getting in?" Can't see anyone that is any good going there without knowing if they are going to be able to put out a side.

Golac for me. Head and Shoulders above the rest, I guess part of it will always depend on how old you were when you first started going. I was 10 years old when Golac signed and had got my first season ticket in the family centre only the year before so probably influences my decision somewhat. I find it difficult to split between Killer, Niemi, Lundukvam and Pahars, was living overseas by then and whilst we used to get some games on the TV invariably they were when we were playing big four.

Has he really told us how it is. All I see is someone else associated with the few moaning about how unfair it all is. He tells us that the rules only allow five loan players to be in the squad for a match day and then contradicts himself by saying no one understands the rules and how unfair everything is as poopey dont have enough signed players of their own to fill the bench. Perhaps they should have thought about that before they released all the youth players they did own in order to manipulate their squad below 20 players enabling them to sign loanees. The five loanee rule was brought in specifically to protect the integrity or the competitions. Otherwise we could all let our youth and reserve squads leave and borrow 20 players each week from Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester United. As for his so called embarrassment over collecting wages for doing nothing perhaps a gesture of donating to all charities they have ripped off would salve his conscience

We have been in June, seem to remember the weather was nice, occaissional rain showers that would last for an ahour or so in the afternoon but genrerally pretty good weather. At certain times of the year it can make a difference which side of the island you are staying. We have stayed at both La Pirogue and Le Touessrok which are on opposite sides of the island. Le Touessrok being by far the best hotel on the island from what I have seen is on the East Coast. Port Loius is the main town which is on West Coast, lots of nice bars and restaurants particularly in the old waterfront area but they do tend to shut down quite early of an evening. We always have a great time there, if you looking for some where nice quiet and relaxing you will love it.

I occasionly get given items like this to test, mate works for one of the major importers/distributors for a number of countries in the region and I end up writing reviews for him. Have to say having played with this and the iPAD, I would go with the iPAD. Android 2.2 is not really designed for this platform, and really has just been crow barred into it. I find it clunky and the choice of apps and their quality is not as good as that available from the Apple App store. If you really want to go with an Android product I would go for the Motorola Zoom, uses Android 3.0 which was developed with tablets in mind so seems to work much better.

I agree I think the only way FIFA will survive is with a clear out top to bottom. There isn't one of the current mob perhaps with the exception of Platini (although I think even he is tainted by being seen as Blatter's Golden boy) who I have any faith or trust in what so ever. I think should be run by ex-players, who have played at the highest levels and needs somebody completely new who is untainted whom everyone else could rally around. I know he is 70 years old now, but lets face it still younger than Blatter, but I think Pele would be the ideal candidate.

The way the club does things these days I would not be surprised if we haven't already signed pre-contracts with one or two that will be announced on the 1st July as players that have been released are still generally contracted with other clubs until 30th June. Not complaining by the way think it is actually very professional, certainly far more professional than all the Krap being sprouted by the few down the road.

My Mac Book Pro has just blown up after 3 1/2 years, is going to cost 50% of the price of a new one to fix, so thinking may as well get a new one.

Not really a 50% chance since 3 teams come up so in 12 years a total of 36 teams have been promoted and only 6 making the play offs or better give you something closer to 16-17% chance.

Think we should wait and see who comes down from the premiership and who wins the play-off from League One before we get too carried away with predicting next seasons championship table. I have done the BBC predictor thingy and have Wigan and Birmingham( Brum to lose 3-0 at Spurs) coming down and Blackpool staying up losing 3-1 at Man U. Hence Blackpool staying up on goals scored. Whilst I would like to see Hudders come up as I think they are one of the best three teams in the league this year, I can just see that Knut Ferguson fluking it.

Not too fussed really, personally more interested in which games might feature Saints on the telly here, even if I do have to get up at 3.00am to watch them. Personally would like to see Huddersfield or Bournemouth go up with us. Hudders as I think they deserve it but also Bournemouth gives us a "derby" which might get featured on Sky so then I get to see it. As for the premier league, just want West Ham to come down then the prossie botherer gets shown for being the complete knut he is.
