Disappointing return. Too much of a transition from the 8 Dairylea triangles to the 5 Pledges.

The Starmer Years - Can The New Broom Sweep Clean?

The country's doomed if it's like our season. 🙂 -
Catching a little of Moyes' conference. He was asked about what style of play he'll bring. He complimented the question. Then he said that, as he assessed the strengths of the players he has, he'd be focused on winning as many games as possible until the end of the season. That done, then he'd look to make adjustments to better suit the style he'd like to coach. Quite a contrast to the philosophy-at-any-cost managers. Moyes is looking to keep his club in the PL and take them into their new stadium. Then, he'll be looking at broader changes to better suit him. Also noted that he's got a 2.5 year contract, rather than and end of season one. If things go well, that gives Moyes the chance to improve things for the club. It then also gives the club a chance to back Moyes. Hopefully, they'd do that, if they stay up and not move him on. This was on 5 live's Monday night club. So, a couple of them immediately ignored all of the above. They promoted Potter as a better option due to age. Then pointed out possession based football as better than Moyes' approach. Because that's been working well for the PL's possession based coaches of late. Because obviously Moyes' 1000 plus games are not worth a bean to the next set of coaching foetuses available for coaching jobs. No wonder Moyes said his biggest achievement was his longevity. Idiots in the media writing them off. Theo on the panel, not adding much.

The last time I heard him, last week, he mentioned Leicester too. But he said that the inability of the PL and EFL to clearly lay out their own rules gave them an out before, and may do so again. The not at all suspicious high value player trading in the summer was designed to get the others off the hook.

Exactly. Once SR are finished with Southampton, we can all support Goztepe. 🙂

You're putting a brave face on, for someone whose pictures show lots of shadow creatures like a MR James/The Omen crossover 🙂

Looks a little surprised at his cell mate's plans for the evening.

Hurty feelings is healthcare too! 🙂

No need. The player has done nothing but take the piss since arriving. 🙂

Our politicians pass up the chance to cling to something successful with a cheaper, pretendy version? 🙂 More generally, everywhere will have history. Bradford was textiles with lots of wool. Getting money while being reminded of your heritage sounds nicer than the "Have a handout, because you're a broken wreck," award.

I thought we'd signed someone from the Highland Leagues, and your post was in the wrong place. 🙂 I'd like to welcome Maani McTavish to the Saints.

And now it's a cultural bleak, dirty, grim, desolate dump. 🙂 It's just a platform by way of promoting history, as a way of getting some funding for some projects/ redevelopment in areas desperately needing it. I'd be happily surprised if this funding/ redevelopment was of the same levels as when it was the EU City of Culture. Not a Brexit moan, it's just because of the pooled funding that was involved, that led to bigger projects, and some lasting transformation.

Darn Biden, putting delaying tactics in before his departure. 🙂

"ploughing your lonely furrow" probably feeds into his self image as a beacon of justice in the face of enemies, rather than the hateful, intolerant person all sides are realising he is.

A stable first team, or rather a stable approach under Ralph, with the strategy they brought was what they'd hinged their master plan on. When their decisions helped that go pear shaped, they've been at a loss much of the time since.

Take a look at the forum now You're alone in your abuse You burn all your CoT bridges down And now you know what's the use The harsher the posts, the more that you've lost, yes, it's true If you make a mistake where you couldn't relate to the clues (Yes, that's true) Can you read hints, bursting through your message board? Wow. Do you type your own posts, or simply dictate them to a servant? Brand cling film. I never thought I'd see the day I shared html in such company. Right. I've egged that more than egg visiting an egg factory on Scrambled Eggs for the World Day. When my actual response was to mentally file it away for a future shopping trip. 🙂 H&W: Well, that's where the hole is. Whitey: A hole?! We used to dream of having a hole to take the stench out the room! H&W: A room?!... followed by similar hijinks.

Or even... " I could have stayed in Wales, and married a nice dug out from the valleys. But as pound for pound the best stadium facilities manager in Europe, I wanted to be part of dug out heritage, while leading the club into new dugouts, in League One."

Supercomputer predicts Southampton to finish bottom

I think we'd all be quite happy to bin this season for some quality time playing Daley Thompson's Decathlon. 🙂
