Well, that was something different. We take the bright spots of Martin, in being able to pass really well into space across the team, and especially from the back. Arguably, we get back quickly defensively too, after all those corners where we had to run back. Mainly though, we don't panic. To that, we harry, get space and worked really hard. It's rusty looking up front. TP will be dispapointed not to have had a goal. But he's been involved in practically everything. He shows that when he has space he has some pace. He's physical and skilled enough to shield it. If anything, and not unknown for tall players, his heading could have been a little sharper there. really pleased for him as he's waited a long time for a system to give him a chance. Likewise the others who are working hard. Suga and KWP doing well, ably supported by hard work elsewhere. After such a different approach, I really hope we can keep the energy levels up, as we've gone tow to toe with WHU and come out the better team after that first half.

'tator: If he (TP) had been fit all season, would we still be bottom of the table. Answer: Yes, because our system was set up to play to his strengths as little as possible. As I type, that one was a good chance there for him.

More chances for us. It's odd to see us having so much space, rather than compacted and playing it across the back. WHU analysts will have been wondering what was going to happen today, so a chance to take advantage. TP looking awkward and a little ponderous, but getting into good positions and getting chances. Who would have thought we'd have a center forward at the club?

wow. One of those good moves I've seen in highlights from other teams. Could have scored, but optimistic we might get some more chances to do so.

Previously, we've offered little up front, but gifted goals away at the back. Today, we offered little up front, but cleared our lines. The result is that in one game, Rusk has equalled Martin's PL away points record. The second half mostly followed the first. Fulham on top early. Then a lull before their subs started to make a difference. Ramsdale parried a very close effort away, and a second chance went just wide. In the closing minutes we had a flurry of corners to sneak all three points. But they will be happy enough with one.
