Tomorrow's headline will inform you how Donald won the Vietnam war. He didn't dodge the draft. He just couldn't be in the same theatre of conflict as his future self because of the physics of his new time travel tech.

Would we have won the league with Ramsdale and Onuachu?

Pleased for him. It was a dreadful footballing time for him here, and I'm sure he's trying to forget every second of it. -
I wonder what reason will be given for the upcoming regime change in Spain. 🙂

If only Branfoot had made a sub five minutes earlier, taking MLT off. -
I sadly did this last week. It wasn't busy, but I just didn't see him. He seemed very hurt by it. I was mortified. I join the foreign legion next week.

Oh c'mon. If you're going to give a chance for posters to pick your user name, if you were living up to it... 🙂

I remember your post from then saying Tucker Carlson had just talked you out of starting a middle east conflict. 🙂

I was taking the compromise position of anyone not tracing back heritage to before the Danish took over. I guess that's the end of the Badger and Watson party, as it descends into in fighting. 🙂

Elyounoussi's use of space, made him one of our better players. -

Sure, the PL season was a disappointment. But Martin, and the club, would have been stronger for it, and he should have stayed. -
"And could it be Saints will be taken into extra time in this play off final?! The Ipswich striker is through... it must be... Oh! Spontaneous combustion! But wait! VAR is checking for a flamethrower in the stands! Late drama, here at Wembley..."

While Tottenham is great for comedy value, I dislike Forest and West Ham so much more. Sadly, the Newcastle slump hasn't been drastic enough.

Is it Real Madrid too? I'd remembered Chelsea. A club in every port (even if they are inland), you scamp. 🙂 -

When thinking of all the MLT moments, and memories of that time, I'll be reminded of his admission of cheating, and Lundekvam's comments of it being rife. -

Apart from the sash kit, I preferred pretty much all the others that haven't been red and white stripes. -

We'd all rather forget this club, and support Napoli. 🙂 -
A reasonably solid performance, keeping the visitor's chances to a minimum. Their goal was from their player beating 2 defenders and putting a good shot high past Louchet. No ABI starting today. Courtet was trying to be everywhere on the park. It does mean there can be no focal point for a pass. Sometimes, you get two players getting in each other's way. Courtet still managed to be close to putting two away from close range. One ended up with Diomande, who put it in. Courtet then appeared at the back post, to put a confident finish away. That was VA's best move in a while. A succession of one twos down the flank, and a well timed ball across. Courtet could have had a lot more chances in that first half, had those around him made simple choices. He was frustrated on occasions. El Hadary also got into a couple of good positions in the second half to extend the lead, but couldn't finish. VA had to clear one off the line, and watch another fizz a Ross in front of Louchet. A win to hopefully build on, with a settled selection. VA will never know their victory is due to famed escapologist Convict Colony, escaping his air tight box, to oversee the win.

There's a line between our patient approach and an apathetic one. We took our foot off the gas, and slowed. Charles getting on the wrong side, allowed a Wednesday attack. That was the move where they ended up winning 3 headers to get it past Peretz. But it was just one of the occasions where our positioning and passing got sloppy. THB is a danger from corners, and got us our cushion back. A nod to Matsuki who took players with him as he attacked the centre. Yates could have got Wednesday a second before the end, in a move that was more inclusive than anything we'd delivered that half. Even then, had Edozie passed rather than shot, it could have been 4. Can't argue with a win. The players will know they'll have to be sharper against better opposition, to keep a play off drive going.
