Good from Robinson. Would have expected Archer to put that in (had he not been one of our players).

Good run back by Archer. More useful as a centre half than a striker? 🙂

They were fine with a not 100% Coleman. I doubt we'll cause any problems for Branthwaite. They've taken him off, just in case he hurts himself, more than us being able to take advantage of it.

4 or 5 Everton players lining up for a shot there. We manage to lose every single challenge. We lose the header coming in and Ramsdale puts it over.

We manage to put a few passes together. We have someone in the box to at least try something. Instead, we get confused on the flank and give it away. Utterly infuriating team and coaches.

"and he can walk it in" Perfect summation of the game. They can do what they like at whatever pace they want. We are so ponderous and clueless in our gutless set up, that we let it happen. More than the players needing a clearout.

I reckon our coaching staff got lost in the contents pages of Coaching For Dummies.

There goes to the hope of selecting 10 fans, by half time raffle, to join Ramsdale for the second half, improving our chances of getting a result.

It was a lovely move, even if offside at the end. We were nowhere near any of that, giving them all the space they needed.

So useless. We get a break and lose it to the first tackle. Even as we're going forward, I won;t have been the only one waiting for the inevitable as we then stretch the game. Cue counter, and one ruled out for offside as we were cut apart. We are incredibly poor at managing our play.

Ooops Ramsdale. Icey cool Baz was generally pretty good at that sort of thing. (caveat: with the odd disaster)

Rusk's default is to sit deep and use the amazingly clinical Sulemana as his pacey counter. Even in games where we are given space and could push our opponents back. I just sighed when I saw the line up, knowing that this is what we'd be getting. I was hoping we might fluke one through Dibling being left in tons of space. But no luck.

And they've been playing with someone not 100% in Coleman. Just giving him a 20 min tribute run out. I expect Joe Royle to make a sub appearance (about the same age as Ashley Young 🙂 ) and get 4. Just an end of season/ stadium celebration for them against a team they would have picked for an easy finale.

A second move with promise in the middle. This involving Dibling. But they simply haven;t a clue how to drive to create a chance. Another easy interception. Wrong set up again today, as we are being given the space to do something.

Nice bit of Russball to get it to Downes. He does take a moment to get it under control. But loads of room and he pushes forward... with his best option arcing away to the side. The pass is easily intercepted. Lots of promise. Useless in the end.
