I was going to answer your post, but then wondered if I was falling into the trap. 🙂

We're living the SR dream together. 🙂

You probably left it at the bottom of one of mine. 🙂

Sorry Christophe. I only drank a half this evening.

Oh heck. Not man flu! You get the best possible care, to overcome such a difficult thing. Take care, man.

Misunderstanding, SR bring in... Miracle Okafor from Brackley Town.

Much as posted. Everyone will have a price, and while some will be a little sadder to see go than others, not by that much considering the last few seasons. SR will want as much as they can for key assets Fernandes and Dibling. While not impossible, it's hard to imagine someone not coming on for Ramsdale. THB probably next in line. KWP, Lallana, Lumley, Les and Gronbaek (unless he's a gem) will be on their way. Charles and BBD might well hope for their loan clubs to go up, and offers to be made. Edozie was punted out due to an influx of players, and might be hoping for newcpastuees too. McCarthy, Stephens, Aribo, Will, Stewart, Bree, Taylor, Fraser, SAA, Onuachu and ABK would be going into their final year (unless there are extension clauses). Medical reasons might prevent a couple of them going. High wages may prevent others wanting to go. Also, if the club don't go back up, it might be cheaper to renew a contract than pay agent and signing on fees to someone else. That might keep a few around beyond next season. No doubt SR will still be desperately trying to get something back for Sule. Beyond all that, we've still got the same gaping holes in the first 11 that SR faced when they arrived and didn't resolve or made worse. A Romeu replacement and an Adams upgrade. If Fernandes goes, that would be a third. GK - McCarthy, Bazunu FB - Manning, Bree, Sugawara, Larios, Welington CB - Stephens, THB, Wood, Bednerak, Edwards DM - Charles MC - Downes, Smallbone, AM - Fraser, Amo-Ameyaw, Edozie FC - Armstrong, Stewart, Archer Leaving - KWP, Aribo, Lallana, Lumley, Fernandes, Sulemana, Taylor, Ugochakwa, Gronbaek, Ramsdale, Onuachu, Dibling, ABK, BBD Incoming - Romeu replacement, Adams upgrade, Fernandes replacement, keeper competition. That would bring it up to 25 players. Hopefully a few development players ( we bought players already with some lower league experience), loans and the odd upgrade elsewhere to round it out. And we'll no doubt get a contingent of players then loaned out to other SR clubs.

I know I look at this thread, not only for the hints, but as a barometer of activity from the club. A thread useful on lots of levels. Sometimes, silence speaks volumes.

Welcome back to the club, Mr Shilton. 🙂

You should consider getting paid by SaintsWeb, per post. After the site came back up I just spent an hour in the 1 word post thread, and made back my lost earnings.

Now over to our city desk, and our correspondent, Blue Chip. Blue? Hi, the markets are still reacting to suggestions from S-Clarke that MLG is now run by the Deepseek AI. But analysts say that this alone can't be responsible for the share price. Let's have a look at that now, and see if there can be any other explanations... 🙂

Usual time in the celeb gossip section for a natter? 🙂

He's familiar with the club, so a suck it and see appointment might work to really get into the corners. 🙂

Invade Greenland before Trump. Exploit mineral resources amassing vast wealth. Engage in dodgy arms deals to protect interests and shore up UK defence industry. Engage in dreadful human rights abused, handily (or not if cut off as punishment) including all those who disagree or report against any of the above. Use government leverage, defense contracts and Infrastructure projects to get pressure put on PL and FA behind the scenes. Find that the rules strangely shift to your whims. Once again, SR failing to take the simple route. 🙂

You make it sound as though he'd be somehow less likely to score than our current lot. 🙂

Not another possession obsessed manager with a dreadful recent record? 🙂 Besides, SR have decided that at this point in their sure fire 10 year plan, to move to another style of tactics for a few months. 🙂

It's a fine balance to strike, and you did the right thing.

This. CoT allow us to know of the activity. The hints are there, but deniable as there's no comments made. They are abstract enough to protect sources. There's also a bit of common sense to be used. The CoT are excellent at making the clues hard. However, some of us have fun with the clues putting up comedy answers. Behind that are the DM's where we try and figure it out. A more obvious set of clues could defeat the purpose. If everyone correctly guessed 2 mins after the clue went up, the CoT may have to reconsider how obvious they were and look to further protect sources. I'd like to think that, to help the CoT, we'd let them know and not blab too much, should that ever arise. The balance has been as good as the CoT success rate. I know I enjoy the effort put into it, and the information we get.

Sending our best wishes for your granddaughter and your family in supporting her, Whitey. So glad the support she's receiving has improved. For any and all issues I might have developed, looking back I'm very grateful to have had the foundations of decent childhood diet, exercise and having to interact with others. Even then, I'd get money to get some sweets for school. That was definitely not the best, and has had some impact. Thankfully, that was it as far as sweets or fizzy drinks went. Everything else was bought from proper butchers, grocers or bakers. I dread to think what I'd have been like with more additives and sugar in my system. Likewise, my folks made sure we interacted with other kids. Later on, we had moved to a more isolated spot, where that was more difficult. I'm sure as they ushered us out the door, most kids didn't see the happy smiles of relief on parents' faces. Peace for a few hours, knowing we were all safe together. But all that exercise, fresh air, dealing with lots of other kids socially gives so many skills, not least tolerance, friendship, conflict resolution and resilience. Hang on... the jumpers Whitey's using for goalposts are definitely closer together than mine....

Sadly, it looks as though we'll have to depend on the cup, to get into Europe next season.

Which also answers Whitey's earlier question.
