  1. For all our fault at the back and poor managers over the past year, Adams Tops the pile of “our biggest issue”.
  2. Jones’ ball really is a terrible watch, isn’t it.
  3. Back 3 lavia holding JWP Moi ahead of them 2 up top Similar to how Jones set up at Luton, I wonder if he’s been restricted in this given the absence of Lavia.
  4. Not fully fit, I’m told. Apparently hasn’t been consistently training with the squad.
  5. Any player that may have a slight interest in coming here certainly won’t when they watch us play tonight…
  6. When is Jones next press conference? I can’t wait for the “we’re working on a few deals but January is a tough market”
  7. The Southampton way
  8. Came the the realisation that Larios is way to small to cut it in the PL?
  9. If I’ve learnt anything about this club in recent years it’s, if you see a name or a few names linked, instantly rule them out. If you start to see the same name cropping up for a few weeks, you’re not getting anyone.
  10. Sounds like it. Tbh, the way the club is being ran at the minute, I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re searching through the #saintsfc hashtag on Twitter to find potential candidates
  11. Swing Lowe, swing Rupert Lowe…. How long before Martin, Rasmus and co. Get their own song.
  12. Ings isn’t coming back, simply will not happen.
  13. In times like these, I really wish we still had Osvaldo playing for us. An absolute shit house, who’d have ruffled up the dressing room and added a bit of aggression to our bunch of pansies, but was a bloody brilliant player. I could imagine him and Jones would have got on like a house on fire.

Who on earth did he think we had that was going to get us £20m+, ffs. Who are these idiots running our club.
  15. Given Jones apparent strength is working with an ‘underdog’, i really don’t think he’s the right man even if we go down. As for the squad, we have a core of players whom should be good enough for the play offs, if we add in the right places. we have some players, Lyanco, Bednerak, AMN who’d I’d not even want in the championship. We should be able to generate some decent money, even if a reduced fee, for the likes of KWP, Salisu, ABK, DCC, JWP At a minimum, we need an older experienced head and leader (think Cahill at Bournemouth) at CB and CM. Tella, Armstrong, Edozie, Adams should be more than enough up top for the championship. Even Djenepo and Diallo would be good enough squad players at that level. I think we’d need to bounce right back though or we’ll be right in the shit. Personally, I see us being more of a Swansea than Norwich.
  16. He’s just had 6 weeks to work with the squad to implement his style. We look worse now than before. We have bunch of absolute wankers that play for us, the gave up under Ralph because they didn’t like him. Jones had no chance of winning them over.
  17. Tella isn’t the answer. If we go down he could certainly do a job, but he’s not the man to keep us up. I wonder if there is a deal to be done with Burnley…. Tella + Jones for Kompany.

Either; embarrassed to post after so many ridiculous posts in the past which have proven to be, as suspected, nonsense. Or Posting under a new username. I suspect it’s actually Both…

I think I’ve found the reason why it’s all gone to shit. SR are TWar’s wet dream. It turns out, much like him, they haven’t a fucking clue.
  20. Hypothetical question; Would anyone take a loss here if it means Jones is sacked, at the very least giving us hope of staying up. or; Get the 3 points but Jones remains, giving us absolutely no hope of staying up. in reality, we’ll lose and Jones will remain. But it’d be interesting to see if any would sacrifice a loss for the greater good….
  21. The right call was sacking Ralph, replacing him with someone credible (I’d even take someone half credible at the minute) and then strengthening in Jan. keeping Ralph would have been just as negative as appointing Jones. In fact, we should have sacked Ralph in the summer which would have given us time to appoint Jones (clearly he was the preferred target and would have been appointed regardless), relaise it’s a mistake and sack him. It’s too late now, we’re fucked.

A bit extreme, we were heading down under Ralph and it was a tough gig for anyone to try and keep this crock of shite up… however, appointing Jones meant that we have 0 hope of staying up.

No worse, nor no better I expect. Ralph had long enough to turn it around and couldn’t. However; Jones isn’t and wasn’t ever the right man for us. Terrible appointment and makes me question Ankerson. We seem to be falling apart on and off the pitch under his stewardship.

Yep. We had them on the ropes.
  25. He’s crap. Weak as piss, makes loads of mistakes, generally concedes more of the ‘keeper should have that’ than he saves. Angus Gunn mk2
