Yep, you win.

But...they keep telling us that fratton is a "proper" ground and they wouldn't want a "flat-pack" stadium like ours...and...why did they often struggle to sell out that crumbling, little 21,000 capacity ground of theirs when they were in the Prem...and struggle to shift their cup final tickets? Not to mention the crowds they're getting now are, by their own fans admission, nothing like what's being reported and the thousands of free tickets they've been giving away. Strange.
-
...and raise you...
-
But that just highlights how bad vocal support is in this country these days. Where our manager comes from this is the norm.. ...in big open stadiums. He must have been scratching his head after yesterday and having been to the "passionate hotbed" of the North East last weekend.
-
They beat us at our own game.
-
I would think MP is feeling a little bit stupid and let down today after coming out with the "more passionate than Barca" and 'arry was gonna enter a "hate-fuelled" arena, I feel embarrassed for him. Saggy got out of jail free again. Other than a bit of grief from a few over in the corner the rest of the stadium was as placid as any I've ever been in. The Chapel end of the ground would make more noise if they were cardboard cut-outs rustling in the wind. 3,000 QPR made more noise than 29,000 of our lot in a game where everyone should haven't have needed any other reason to be at it for 90 minutes, we're right back in it now.

I know you're a bit 'care-in-the-community' with your views a lot of the time but...really? Who in their right minds would peddle a story like this in the hope it 'lulls' the opposition. **** sticks, if they go a goal down today their own fans will be into them and probably turn on saggy. I wonder if Rosie had her own room? Just crush 'em Saints.

http://www.moneycontrol.com/news/wire-news/qprs-redknapp-rejects-team-drinking-reports_833044.html? "I didn't see it" Of course you didn't 'onest 'arry, you were tucked up in another hotel with the missus. Triffic holiday?

Yeah but...I think it's once he left that he really p*ssed off a lot of Saints fans. Declaring his "heart wasn't in it" (just what you want to hear when you've been fighting for your life), "it was a mistake going there" and the fact he then went back down the M27. And this is all after that little wink to you-know-who the day his team put in the most gutless performance ever witnessed from a Saints side. Personally I'll put a little more energy into driving my team forward for a crucial 3 points on Saturday rather than saggy constantly distracting me. I will give it to him when he shows his chops tho.

They have a pop at Twitchy for getting it wrong and then state... The only trouble is that Pompey fans have always called their Southampton rivals ‘scummers’ and not the other way round. The term dates back to a dispute between the dockyards at the two ports when workers in Southampton broke ranks and crossed picket lines during a strike. Fookin'ell...they then pick a skate fanzine myth out of the air and report it as fact! I wont waste too much time abusing the **** on Saturday personally but hope to be joining in a hostile atmosphere aimed at getting 3 vital points. When saggy came with the skates to SMS for the first time for the midweek League Cup game, that was a good hostile crowd. The first 15 mins or so any skate possession was greeted by a crescendo of whistles and they were rattled before they got on the pitch, Redknapp described their arrival at the stadium that night like going through Beiruit. Maybe there should be a big welcoming committee for him and his team on Saturday, get into him early.

Should be interesting, Inter's home game, Balotelli's gonna get it Think it's on ESPN...

I'm picturing gtomlinson as their famous fan with the moobs and he likes to tell a few porkies http://www.nufc-forum.com/nufcforum/index.php?topic=48797.75 Leave Southampton alone Bringing less fans than Wigan..just embarassing. Worst away numbers all season Look, you've taken the smallest allocation of the season. Nothing to be ashamed of. Just one of those things! Man up http://www.nufc.co.uk/page/Match/Report/0,,10278~2999440,00.html Wigan took 279 there (300 mile round-trip), he reckons we're taking less. If you're one of our numpties posting on there wind it in but before you do just let tommy know we're taking 1,700 (650 mile round-trip) sold out over a week ago - don't know why we didn't take a further allocation as we'd obviously sold more.
-
Damn...thought they said "we will win". I withdraw my p*sstake.
-
And I quote: They all seem like arrogant pr*cks on their forum too, hope we bring them back down to earth with a bump on Sunday. Southampton are a different class to us and will win very easily http://www.nufc-forum.com/nufcforum/index.php?topic=48797.45

See...the warning signs were there...

Still, nothing compared to TCWTB and his little gimpy band.

Jeesh, 20-odd years ago, at least they got of their arses and had a go. Today most would just sit in front of their keyboards and bash away telling the world how 'ghey' it all is... And nothing wrong with Weston Shore, always an interesting stroll to see what delights the last tide brought in.

http://www.hartlepoolunited.co.uk/news/article/120213-portsmouth-report-653858.aspx?pageView=full#anchored OK, we're just gonna have to accept they have got 280 loyal fa...oh, hang, forgot about Wigan away...70 loyal fans...the rest are just a bunch of deluded, fickle, gloryhunting, JCL, FAAAACKIN-SCUMMAAAAAH-hating, fantasists.

Don't matter how entertaining it is, if you can't afford more than a certain figure then you can't afford it. Anything north of £650 will be a challenge in my household.

What are the nice areas around Southampton, Winchester?
alehouseboys replied to Spudders's topic in The Lounge
Good shout...check out the 'Flowers'. Sounds lovely, doesn't it... -
It's not gonna happen of course, but...I think all Premier League clubs should seriously be looking at cutting their prices next season, mugs not to as more and more fans are gonna decide to keep their money in their pocket and just watch (any Prem) game down the pub or from the comfort of their home, for free, via their 'puters.

Well, Andy from Buckland, probably not, and certainly nothing like the bitter hurt felt by all (not that many then tbf) the skates from around 1961 to 2003. That period whipped portsea island up into some frenzy at the faaaaakin' scummaaaaaahhhssss!!!!!!!!!!

Any videos of the home crowd after Schneidelin's Wigan goal?
alehouseboys replied to georgeweahscousin's topic in The Saints
Tbf they did have a similar turn out at Wigan as us once but circumstances were a bit different. Their's was a last day 'honest 'arry' great escape that saw them (cheating of course) stay up. It's a bit like us using the 15,000 we took to Selhurst Park and a few others in the same scenario to compare it to. And everyone takes a decent number away last day whatever the importance of the fixture. No, the only comparison is what us and them both took to Wigan mid-season in the same league and this sums it up... ...be interesting to see how many they take to Hartlepool in a few weeks, we took 900 in the middle of a cold November week.
