  1. Pure ****e. New owner, same old Saints. When will they ever learn?
  2. As Americans might say, doh!
  3. For his talent KP is probably there, but not for his durability IMO. He needs to show more Jon Trott type sensibilities as well as keeping his brilliance to earn a hall of fame place in the long term. I realise Trott is an off the cuff comment but how often has KP held together or prolonged an innings at 5 when all else is going tits up? He has had plenty of chances to do so and not really delivered in those bad situations enough. KP needs to make his flash meet stubborn like so many Aussies before he gets my vote.

McGoldrick will never be a better than CCC forward unless he improves his attitude. Same as Leon Best and countless others who pretend to aspire and ultimately deceive and rob themselves of better opportunities. Nathan Dyer is probably in the same camp also. BWP was never there but had his dad's name to fall back on for a while. I don't think Rickie Lambert is the best player Saints have had up front of course, but his career shows mental determination that has paid off whilst others of his age have fallen away. Maybe before your time Bizzle, but Lambert reminds me of Micky Evans a lot.

As he works for his dad, that's amazing!
  6. Salvia is a proper drug. Bent my head when I tried it, yet legal.
  7. I'm amazed at 19C putting together a non-confrontational post that makes sense. Credit where it is due!
  8. This is true. Anyone with more than 1 GCSE knows this also.
  9. Don't think Jaidi showed enough desire or intent to come to Saints so he can **** off anyway!
  10. Exactly. The bloke owns a number of businesses and no doubt has a managing director at each of them.
  11. About 4% quicker than Chambers. Which is as good as a mile!
  12. Agreed though it does seem there is much work to be done and some new blood required.
  13. Chucking it down in Manchester and windy so assume Huddersfield will be a pretty dour game.
  14. I think it's clear that the "doctor" has taken advice and decided to bugger off. That leaves the gun runner trying to flog negative equity to less gullible types. What could possibly happen?
  15. A good draw for us. An early chance to test our new mettle against a better rated club. Quite sure Brum won't be pleased.
  16. Excellent draw IMO. Gives us a chance to test our new mettle.
  17. Just shocking. No back bone from the usual suspects and none from the slightly mentally stronger either. I have an Aussie client at Headingly today. I'm running an event for him on Monday so at least he'll be in a good mood!
  18. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/8187762.stm Good article that highlights the issues and explains why the FT is able to charge online.
  19. This is a point everyone else has missed and also makes me wonder about how keen the player is to come here anyway.
  20. I see a parallel with efforts made by the banks to charge for services people think should be free such as cash from atms. The newspapers may all agree secretly they want to charge but the odds are one will always fall out of line. They could get accused of cartelism anyway too.
  21. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/8186701.stm "Quality journalism is not cheap," says Mr Murdoch.
  22. And Peter Shilton.
  23. That seems about right...
  24. City Rover? Polski Fiat? What's your nomination?
