die Mannyschaft

If we can grind out a draw at Birmingham then 3-1 Saints. I hope we don't play slow controlling passing keep ball thinking we are superior. More direct ball to Larin who should have more time to hold up and turn. Not sure if Azaz should stay on even if he's invisible in case he comes alive. KS and JWP have bolstered the squad so that's a positive.

Witch finder general running the line, anyone offside gets executed.

Must be most in any championship match if the stat exists. I think Azaz completed 1 pass all night

Bloody hell Birmingham gave game away missed 3 sitters. I'll settle for draw we looked terrible in midfield gave everything away, didn't get many 2nd balls. Created about 6 good chances bug need to shoot first time and get ball in quicker. I keep having to say this, Russell Martin has left why are we continuing to do suicidal passes to keeper then keeper to defender. Very lucky today. Need to strengthen on wing and midfield and up front for Jan Good support by Saints tonight.

A point away but think we can get a win if the attacking intensity continues. Same setup a Millwall if possible but not sure how Birmingham play or if thier defensive is also suspect. Birmingham 1-2 Saints Larin (12), Azaz (57)

At this rate there won't be any deplayers at Villa if THB goes for his medical. Maybe Spurs could put a bid in for £80m 😀

Wow that a turnaround. Some excellent build up play. Great goals and more of a team performance rather than a few individuals standing out. A solid performance from new defender and WP. Could of had a few more goals A constant effort to attack was mu h better than sitting back early on. Plenty of crosses and shots from wings another plus. What on earth happened to the so called tough Millwall defence? Looking forward to Birmingham trip let's hope Saints keep the intensity.

How did they miss that open goal

Millwall Just ran through and passed through our midfield then we scored and they sat back

Matz playing well 5 decent crosses and pot shot. Leo brilliant Azaz scored as a forward But defence shocking, no one going to player on edge box We look good in opposition box but not ours 2 good goals. Can get another or hang on.

AC/DC Thunder or Tonda

Wonder if we will water the pitch as usual !

They advertise as a family club, although I couldn't see much evidence of that up there last season.

I think hell go this weekend, Saints will change thier mind and sell him at 2nd bid. If a player wants to go then no point keeping them as won't be committed to team, as already not committed by wanting to go. Just get the sale done and replacement.

Two tough games Millwall and Birmingham then next 7 should be mix of wins and draws. We will know by WHU away what Saints are able to achieve. Lincoln, Swansea, Bristol City, Wrexham, Skates, Norwich and Bolton. 13 points at least.

Saints odds have shortened slightly from beginning of week. Is this a data recalculation or based on the two new players? Millwall were same odds as Saints.

I still expect RM to do well this season.

Have both new players registered in time for Millwall game? Registration only needs to be done by 11pm day before?

Can't see Villa paying much more if anything from 2nd offer. Be very surprised if THB goes for £30m. You would think Villa would have someone in U21 ready to step up or 3rd player option.

Thats 6 points to add our tally if Bazunu allowed to play.

Willkommen bei der rot-weißen Armee

Good signing as stop gap until we get a balanced team. Should bring some experience in positioning and hopefully he will bark instructions to those wandering around not watching the ball and player.

usual dilly dallying in defence or sideways passing If Tonda gets banned for a long time maybe RM can cover the job, we certainly have incorporated his style of football.

I'd have JWP back even if its for 10 games, we are desperate fir some quality and experience. Even if you put him in defensive or as a striker cant be any worse that what we have. Some of our players can shoot first, 2nd or 3rd time at least he can little ball without faffing about.
