Well despite a few chumps here it's refreshing to hear such honest appraisal of a result. Much better than the usual "that's the worst we've played for 5 years" you get from the top teams when we've beaten them. I like Bruce and I like Hull. Hope they get the points necessary for another crack at the Prem.

I'm off with my wife and son in a week or so as joint celebrations for our 40th bdays. We are staying in a fairly quiet part of twon along the Avenue Diagonal. It seems fairly central without being too near the noiseier parts of town. Main bus route right outside the door so should be able to get about quite easily. I have to admit I have been so busy with work that my usual meticulous planning is severely lacking for this trip. We are going to Barca Vs Rayo Vallecano so I hope Messi is up to full speed by then for my sons sake! But apart from that I am winging it pretty much. I am hoping this is a good thing. I will definitely do the bus tours as suggested. I think we are just looking forward to having a wander and doing the usual stuff first couple of days.

Good luck Foxy! As one or two other s have said he and Shaw had built up a great relationship and Shaw speaks very highly of him. I think he'll stay as he (like us) realise that life after Cortese isn't as f##ked up as everyone feared. That said, if KL does sell us then all of the above is subject to whomever buys us. You'll NEVER see them standing in any other order than Ant, on the left (as you look at the tele) and Dec, on the right (as you look at the tele). It's written in their contracts.. they have to stand that way contractually.

I certainly do... I remember reading on other teams' forums about how poor he had been in the last two seasons prior to joining Saints. This was often the reason for those other teams not going for him. A few on here peddled the same agenda. Poppycock! As per the norm for some on here. Makes me chuckle.

I'd love to be able to do this but my eyesight is shocking (even with prescription specs). I struggle to make out our players at the best of times. I suspect many others do too as you do hear some funny abuse directed at the wrong player.. Makes me laugh that. For this reason I refrain from shouting out anything for fear of mistaken identity.
