  1. Literally no reason to think that whatsoever.
  2. Better cutting in to create room for wing backs - and the point of the word "wingers" is it's a pluralisation.
  3. We have no wingers so have no width with 4. That's the excuse, and that's on Sporr.
  4. The issue is not the managers, it's the players. Always has been.
  5. It depends if you're talking pure finances or PSR. PSR we don't need to. Pure finances we may do, but that's up to Dragan.
  6. On a side note, Ozzy Crawley is a fucking awesome rock name.
  7. What a bunch of cunts...
  8. We don't HAVE to sell Fernandes if Dibling is out the door, so I think we'll be even more stringent sticking to our valuation of him.
  9. Potter is the same manager as Martin - said it last year when all and sundry seemed to want him in.
  10. Only if we get what we want for him. We have the advantage of the contract and there is a hefty sell on clause to Sporting - hence our high price for him. Mendes knows that, and has been told the price we will let him go at, hence no posturing by Fernandes (as opposed to Dibling). It's Mendes job to drum up that business.
  11. Of course Everton are a big club, haven't you heard about their dugouts?
  12. We're not loaning players.
  13. Where did £100m come from????
  14. Sounds like every transfer, ever
  15. Feels like we won that stand off then.
  16. If I were them, I'd move to Dubai to save on IHT.
  17. Swap deals don't happen anymore as with PSR it's far better to treat as two separate transactions.
  18. What you have to remember is that Suga is a wing back, as was KWP. Neither were good enough defensively in a 4, and was one of the reasons our defence has been so bad in the last 4 years. Having a safe right back should allow our wingers (in Still's preferred formation) to stay forward and not have to cover as much defensively. He also doesn't need to be PL quality, he just needs to be good enough as a backup when we do get promoted. Think of Dan Harding, but on the right.
  19. Again, 0.4% max over the last 3 months, and even then it's unlikely to be half that considering what has been quoted - don't forget fuel price increases also affect food prices. I'm sorry, but I just disagree with how fiscal policy has clearly had an impact - I don't think anything is clear with the geo-political environment over the last 12 months, along with wars in Russia and Gaza, the lack of business investment due to global tariff pressures etc.
  20. Honestly bro, this thread takes so much out of me. Everyone is a fucking pound-shop economist these days.
  21. Here's an article from late 2023 explaining why in general we have higher inflation than the EU: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-65037292
  22. Love the maths here by the way 😂 UK inflation was 3.8% in July 2025. UK inflation was 2.2% in July 2024. An increase of 1.4% since July 2024
  23. What fiscal policies were implemented during that time?
