Kind of comes down to what Pardew was saying about Lallana though doesn't it? There's too many good footballers that have nothing to show for a career in football. Here he would have a real opportunity to be part of a teams charge towards the Premier League and all the medals and cracking days that come part and parcel of being a winning team. In this particular case i'm not sure that would be a big enough draw compared to the big wages and winning 10-20% of your games in the Premier League which is the other option for Mullins. But that's a choice for him if this is anything other than paper talk. Personally (and i've said it before) i think footballers are pretty stupid individuals and he'd plump for the latter. But we shall see.

If they really must embrace the history of a sash kit then it can be our third kit. I want this kit (probably our only chance to have a kit without some sh:tty logo on it) to be something truely synonymous with Saints. Which it can be especially when combined with the classy kits that Umbro are pushing out at the moment through the Tailored by brand. The whole sash idea is not only not synonymous with Saints it is a halfbaked idea which will blow our one chance to have a kit which can truely last the test of time. If (and it's a big if) they get it right i'll probably buy a couple.

For those of you in the Bournemouth area i really would recommend The Arts University College at Bournemouth shortcourses. They have Dreamweaver and Dreamweaver Advanced and also a course in Flash. I'd already designed a couple of sites (using Dreamweaver) before going on the course. But i still learnt sh:tloads from these courses covering not just using Dreamweaver but also Photoshop, Fireworks, HTML, CSS, jQuery, ServerSide Includes and more. 3 hours one evening a week for ten weeks. Just throwing it out there even though you said not going to college. There are online tutorials out there but frankly i wanted the motivation of a course and deadlines to really get me learning. Oh and i have some fairly meaningless certificates to show for it all as well! --------------- Also just following on from what Steve was saying about viewing source code i also recommend the Web Developer add-on for Firefox. I change my opinion on this quite a bit. But the more i think about it i really am not up for this whole sash idea. I'm seriously hoping that this poxy idea hasn't filtered through to the powers that be at St Mary's.

Prevention is always my preferred method. As such i recommend X-Socks http://www.x-socks.com Fairly annoying hype on the website but they really do sh:t on any other hiking socks i've ever tried before. Comfortable, keep the feet drier and i don't think i've ever suffered a blister when wearing them. Pretty expensive but i've seen them going cheap in TK Maxx.

Well there was some bloke just randomly shouting out peoples names off their shirts and clapping like a loon. So being a bit p:ssed up we started doing it as well. Then i spotted one that i thought said Forby and was thinking that's a new one on me...then i thought "i know him..." then it all clicked into place. "Come on Fordy! Come on Scooby Doo! etc." He looked like most people...in a fair amount of pain...

I saw him by Temple tube station strangely enough. I was just shouting out words of encouragement...generally to the more attractive women. Then over the horizon he came striding. It was like poetry in motion. Rather him than me. Annoyingly i didn't actually see any of the people i went to see because i was in the pub.
