It's a rip off, but if you can afford flights half way around the world and presumably a relatively lengthy stay there, the cost of the match tickets if probably the least of your worries when budgeting!

Probably something to do with the fact that "big clubs" like Man Utd make significantly more money for the brand, even when they're shit, than the likes of the massively over-achieving Bournemouth. Most Americans and Asians couldn't give a sausage about underdogs disturbing the big teams.

Lots of clubs have little flirts with the top of the table. We did a few years ago. Just like us (well, actually, much more so), their little bubble will soon burst and they'll just be no more than a short and insignificant footnote in Premier League history. I imagine the people who run the Premier League probably see them as a bit of an embarrassment for their brand and can't wait to get rid of them at some point.
