  1. We’d be several points adrift with only Sheff Weds below us by now. Appreciate that the current form is where we’d have landed anyway and relegation looks very likely still without appointing a manager whose balls and voice have dropped. But it wasn’t for that string of victories in November, we’d have been nailed on to join the Owls in L1.
  2. That’s ok for them then, because they will win.
  3. Ben Garner for a start, digging shows clear links between him, Right to Dream Academy in Ghana, and Ankerson. There was a more detailed piece of research done on the Ben Garner thread which made it crystal clear. Sulemana graduated from it as well.
  4. Just that SR are doubling down with Ben Garner, yet more analysts arriving, the formation and style of play is intransigent (as well as glacial). I’d say Rasmus has got unchallenged control of the SR asylum and Spors is helping rather than challenging him. In a way, if the rate of decline accelerates towards and over the cliff edge towards League 1, at least the rebuilding post-SR can happen quicker too as Dragan sells at a knock down rate and jumps out of the cab Rasmus has been steering.
  5. Well, he promised it (if you’re referring to Will Still) but didn’t deliver on it, or at least didn’t drive the core of Martin players to do so. Should have dropped them, squad big enough to do so. 21at in the Champ. If you’re referring to Ivan Juric, the bloke never had an earthly chance.
  6. Going to get quite a bit worse I suspect.
  7. Dreadful attitude too. The most direct thing he’s done all season was told a supporter to fuck off.
  8. Southampton Football Club is providing far more entertainment and humour with the ineptitude and fuck ups from Ankerson, Spors and Tonda off the pitch than on, where watching is like being anaesthetised. The Manager is analyst with no practical football experience, so are 99% of the people around him. I know, we’ll hire another analyst. Great…
  9. But he’s the leader, he’s the leader of the gang. Come on, Come on, Come on….
  10. It probably is Hoey but it would be like the Lib Dem’s claiming Heseltine, knowing that he’s been voting for them since Boris took the leadership and was expelled from their party for it. For Farage to claim any sort of scoop on that is desperate indeed and shows the fear that he’s let far too many recycled and failed Tories in his boat, and it’s sprung a bad leak.
  11. Kuenssberg has been drinking the Boomerade for a while but still not a patch on their PR Officer, Chris Mason. When you look under the Political Views section, it’s a wonder she didn’t move to Farage over years ago when she wasn’t an absolute has been because she makes him look like Ken Livingstone https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kate_Hoey She’d have hated Cameron’s Tory Party with the social liberal agenda although didn’t mind Corbyn’s anti-semitism. Tried to cosy up to Boris over the Olympics - he’s an unpleasant bigot as well. The section below that also details some unpleasant homophobia.
  12. There’s a lot of 2026 contract expiries in the squad so there will be a fair bit of turnover potentially organically. Manning, Wood and Downes are three worst apples I suspect.
  13. Should get some reaction from the visiting Blades if so…
  14. Agree with all of that, except it just won’t affect me in the slightest when the skates hammer us, because what Pellegrino and Reed started diluting has become full scale agnosticism about Southampton Football Club under SR. I’ll probably laugh when I see the result mid-afternoon 🤭 Receiving WUM texts from fans of other clubs will be quite boring 🥱 😴 . Rather like SR’s brand of sideways annd backwards that finally killed it off for me. Owners, management and players who don’t care full stop - and the fanbase is weary and apathetic (not surprisingly). Even in 08/09 there were still some fun moments amongst the turmoil and Lowe’s chaos, but just nothing this season and last. It’s like having an anaesthetic.

  16. The boy Streeting is doing well https://www.pharmacy.biz/nhs-waiting-list-for-november-lowest-in-15-years/
  17. He fits Reform’s defector criteria though to a T https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrew_Rosindell 1 Tory for the Reform Conservatives/ERG recycling centre 2 Boomer 3 Flag Shagger 4 Monday Club member (hard right Tory group in Parliament which hosted the NF and BNP frequently at their meetings) 5 Expenses corruption As a nice little bonus to give Soggy excitement, he was also registered for one of Tommy Robinson’s platforms
  18. ‘Putting Egos aside’ - about as obvious a reference to Rasmus Ankerson as you could get.
  19. And certainly no selfie sticks.
  20. Who the Oath Keepers are for those not aware. Lunatics with PTSD in essence, very violent and some crossovers with the KKK https://extremism.gwu.edu/oath-keepers
  21. Agree with the bottom part of the current spineless home support but not the top part. The fan protests especially the boycotts played a role in Lowe’s departure because the banks were even less willing to back a businessman with an already patchy record being able to stabilise a large organisation he’d already made a total mess of once. If your customers base, stakeholders and industry don’t rate you, lenders won’t continue to back you. The cheque from Leon Crouch was the spark. And the Branfoot protests meant shirt sponsorship was harder to find - Dimplex stepped in at last minute as fans but that, the dwindling gates and protests meant Branfoot was untenable and Lawrie was brought in to get rid of him (Lawrie’s book). Where we meet in the middle is that Solak doesn’t need the banks as much as Lowe and Askham did - although he’s been ejected seemingly from his own company board so that may change. But how long would he want to write huge cheques to stem massive SFC losses based on 15k gates, stand closures and protests?
  22. Him and East Stand Weirdo are doing my head in.
  23. He’d buy Leicester - was at SMS last season when we collapsed to them.
  24. In summary - Tonda vanished for an hour after the game seemingly trying to evade interviews, eventually did them starting with Sky. Pulled apart Tonda’s ludicrous assertion that’s it a game they win most times based on XG, frustrated with lack of urgency after Stewart scored and plodding play when urgency was needed. Just a sense that overall he’s a young lad being used as a patsy for SR’s bonkers experiments. As @AlexLaw76 added, his analyst badkground in no way prepares him for the ups and downs of a job this size. Hence the players don’t respect him either and the lack of on-pitch leadership comes up yet again.
  25. We were the original.
