  1. Same as Sulemana, they will both be completed, not expecting any ABK-type shenanigans.
  2. Boris and Farage broke all of theirs to farmers and fisherman. I await that account’s apology for supporting Brexit and being pricks in damaging our economy. I don’t like Starmer either, nor did I vote for him, but some farmers have short memories (no offence intended @Farmer Saint as you are not in that category).
  3. Had typed a response but can’t be bothered anymore. More fun and actual purpose in drinking beer in my garden.
  4. Bazunu loaned out too on a similarity subsidised basis I suspect once Ramsdale future certain. Spors and Still not messing about.
  5. The shrinkage of the economy following a hard Brexit has made those choices more binary. It should be a mix of both reducing welfare, fast-track action on large scale tax evasion, and going further in re-establishing EU trade to get more of the lost pie back.
  6. Surprised given the widely publicised release fee Bednarek hasn’t gone yet. He will though, although Aribo will be next I reckon.
  7. Yep, and Bazunu, ABK and Smallbone next please, none of those will suit Still and only Smallbone has any kind of decent record at the club, but only in a central three.
  8. Judging by his recent comments, I’d say that’s THB as was praising Still and looking forward to next season. A return to Burnley wasn't lighting his fire I guess.
  9. Lallana scored one, Waigo possibly with the first and Hammond with the third. Defending was a bit sloppy at times. Good day out though. Our fans were singing to Akinfenwa 🎵 ‘you should have gone to KFC’ 🎵
  10. That was my memory of being there and it was 2009, not 2010 as I typed earlier.
  11. In 2010 we got some of the stand to the side as well and definitely more than 972 Saints fans there. Depends on how confident they are on selling out or not. Kevin Nolan their manager these days.
  12. My first season of being a supporter…
  13. Darren M’Six Fingers his brother, plays for Pompey’s academy.
  14. Went there for our FA Cup round 2 game in 2010 - freezing November afternoon/evening but good day out, won 3-2.
  15. Driver has said to witnesses that throttle stuck - rare but can happen (see Toyota).
  16. The devil’s advocate is that in the Dalian Atkinson case (this being a football forum) the taser was used inappropriately with deadly consequences but overall yes, I agree that when the public are facing a life/death threat from a lunatic with a sword running around, the police are well beyond asking ‘please sir can you drop your weapon?’. Taser at the first refusal to surrender the weapon is fine and logical with me.
  17. Scary, and not that far from here. He might be the most mature 18 year old ever, and it’s true that he can legally drive, vote, smoke, drink alcohol. But that’s light years from controlling a multi-million pound budget with thousands of staff delivering key public services that we rely on which in some cases are the difference between life and death, and the sheer complexity coming with that. Very difficult to scrutinise effectively for us let alone a lad that age who hasn’t lived yet really.
  18. If the Sulemana sale happens that wouldn’t hurt either.
  19. Ndidi £9m release clause on relegation as well apparently.
  20. I’m going on Klopp’s comments and Brighton’s feedback, they considered him for manager after De Zerbi left.
  21. Quite, and Rohl’s compo situation means that he will have less time to implement his pressing game onto a squad schooled in Maresca-ball. He will be behind Still in preparation time - whether that proves significant time will tell. But people would’ve been stressing about it on here.
  22. He was a dick in 2014, but it was 11 years ago as well. He’s highly regarded as a coach in the game, let’s hope Still benefits from that and together with Paul Trollope they turn the club around. As you say, time to move forwards and we need all of the management team to be at their best as it’s a long time since we improved players.
