  1. Info for travellers from their OS https://assets.ctfassets.net/rrpvignygaa1/11FaT4tmJlSVVbJ1ZE56m4/fcadc27e8f828029debfdaec18b6b14f/Visiting-Fan-Guide.pdf And this was on the UI: “The good thing is that your match ticket entitles you to free bus or train travel on matchdays to and from the game, from within the Brighton, Hove and Sussex region” https://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/southampton/news/63358/the-amex-stadium--a-visitors-guide
  2. …there, finished your sentence for you
  3. Yep, most accept we're down, that was almost accepted before the season started, but it's how we go down. It will probably be Spring before the board buckle to fan pressure which will rapidly build now and bring someone else in (hopefully with a much different game plan) but if we eventually go down fighting then that sets us up for another pop next year in the Championship (which I think many wouldn't be wholly against). Home game for 'Farmer Saint' believe he's lives near Brighton, will be interesting to hear his views of the match and from those around him - think he's said he does go to Falmer with mates so guess he'll be in a home stand.
  4. It’s about time the club ditched their ‘Fabrice29’ log-in, it’s doing more harm than good for club/fan relations.
  5. Yeah, decent post. Another poster said "I remember going to the Dell in 1970...I remember that you could walk all the way around the inside the ground with no segregation anywhere" - well, I started going the following season and you certainly couldn't move from any of the stands to another and that never changed until the day it was pulled down and I can't see how it would ever have been possible before. One for the real old-timers to confirm.
  6. You’re probably right Trousers but I’d struggle with a microphone stuffed in my face, and if put on the spot I’d be more likely to nut ‘em! 🥴
  7. As much as I’m not liking the possession-dominated/reluctance-to-attack RM ideology I’m don’t exactly share some fans deep dislike of the fella. I can’t lose sight of the shit in his early life and that he’s done a lot of good charitable stuff. And I’ve a newfound respect for him and the Pinder if they can strip off on a British beach in November and still smile!
  8. No, Sheff Wed have.
  9. Good point and very nice...but...................
  10. No contest. Flake wins every time.
  11. Thought I'd have a look and see how tickets were going for this, still very poor but looks like they've either now given the scousers extra tickets or they've taken blocks 29-32 off sale as they're now greyed out. When I first looked when it became available to members it was only the standard away area blocked off. Most home blocks little more than half sold.
  12. The famous U-bend formation against Forest was very close!
  13. Once - and then immediately realised he’d made a big error of judgement and went back to the winning formula of the following games.
  14. The club stooges who post on here have been keen to tell us Ankersen has little to do with SFC and Goztepe is his main concern, well Kraft's recent statement certainly blows that out the water "To put it simply, Rasmus is Mr. Football. He works closely with the sporting directors of our different clubs on player recruitment, with the staff and the performance departments" Does anyone know if the Turkish side is forced to play the same way? Looking at their league they're sixth in the top division, scored 19, conceded 13 with 18 points on the board (played 11). If it's doable I vote get him gone, along with anyone else wedded to this tedious 'process'.
  15. I would imagine Wolves are keeping an eye on him, he's from the midlands, would probably have some appeal. If you don't have to live there...
  16. Maybe they are working on a replacement for first team coach and then, we're clever like this, we move RM to the vacant DOF role. I shouldn't joke, it may give Ras more wacky ideas.
  17. They've got the standard 3,000...which will piss them off when they see all the empty seats nearby. Every cloud.
  18. This process is hurting my fucking eyes
  19. If they haven’t already, then it should be dawning on SR now that the supporters are turning as I got access as a member today for cup tickets and looks like ST holders have shunned this game. Thousands of unsold seats for a quarter final, I guess even the biggest die-hards can only take so much pointless possession and little attacking intent.
  20. His missus certainly was, wasn't she the one who gave Lowe the black eye when he turned up at his house to tell him he was on gardening leave? It wasn't particularly good under Jones, pretty sure there was a game away at Newcastle towards the end where we got dicked and many were calling it one of the worst ever Saints performances. But no one has come close to the vitriol aimed at Branfoot. I was at that first SISA meeting at the Captain's Table pub where the place was crackling. Those early meetings were red hot. I was also there when McMenemy was taking flak from the West Stand terrace on the long walk to the dugout, he had a tough act to follow in Ted Bates, but again nothing like Branfoot. Everyone seemed to love 'Big Dave', was a popular figure and did a great job bringing through the youngsters and was almost forced into taking the manager's job that apparently he didn't really want. LIke Souness, didn't really get much stick despite some poor results. The other Jones, that fittest-in-Europe Welsh fella, may possibly have got a bit more venom if he'd stayed around but, although many of us want a change, RM isn't disliked anywhere near how him and Branfoot were.
  21. Whoever it might be hasn't got 'to keep us up', we're almost certainly going back down, just change this shit 'football' and let us go back down with a bit of fight and pride. And then go again.
  22. Not a good look tbh, East Sussex farmer known as 'Lord Fuckhunter' around East Sussex school.......
  23. Just a bit of "fun" but: If (and it's looking increasingly unlikely) they decide time's up for RM, then could they be considering Carsley? Plug should have been pulled after Bournemouth but possibility they've been holding out for this International break. Of course he wouldn't get to work with the players (other than THB and Ramsdale!) over the 2 weeks but Lallana could keep things ticking over, then the FA would probably release him if a PL came calling....and if he'd want it. Coached at Man City and coach/interim boss at Brentford. Ticks boxes for Ras. He even experimented with England against Greece (disastrously) in a Saintly-no-striker ploy. For me, it requires a Moyes-type to sort this mess.
  24. The club log-ins are gonna be busy over the next 2 or 3 days. Time's up, beg Moyes to come in and attempt to rescue this.
  25. I would take some convincing that any Saints fan "enjoyed" that midweek trek up to Sheffield. Something like 6,000 travelled up north a week before Christmas, it was a shit journey gridlocked on the M1, many of us didn't arrive until near kick-off. And then we were shit against lower league opposition. The entire side were booed through frustration and the prospect of another miserable trip back south, Mane copped an earful as he came a bit too close to our end after. One of the least "enjoyable" nights I've had.
