Not sure if been posted but St Pauli's UA kit looks pretty decent - simple design. https://www.footyheadlines.com/2020/06/cream-st-pauli-20-21-home-away-kits.html?TIu8u=jCi6X

Ings rest likely - perhaps Adams and Obafemi (same as vs Chelsea)

Plane(s) to fly over St Mary for Liverpool game - Lambert / Lallana

One of the most embarrassing posts I've ever seen on here tbh. Be great if everyone just got over the Lallana thing in general, wish him well at a huge club as we do all our other academy graduates. Classy little footballer too, yes showed less class over the transfer but still love watching him play. -
He was stationed on the far post, you have to respect that responsibility and concentrate. Could have easily cost us.

Amazing save. But very poor from Elia in not getting out, the rest of the side pushed up once the ball was cleared yet he stayed on the line playing Austin well onside.

http://live.drakulastream.eu/static/popups/27034406211650.html decent stream

That head of yours needs testing.

Fantastic news. Very much deserved.

He's not a decent writer, was my point. And someone called him a reporter which i contested. Also, the ward-prowse providing width bit shows naivety, just because someone has played out wide doesn't mean they're decent there or provide width, if anything JWP has stunted our 'width' when deployed out wide. I would have also put, when back from injury, just think 'fit' has certain connotations, like he's a wilshere type or sumant.
-
Calling this guy a reporter haha, went to uni with him, only graduated last year. Doesn't know a great deal imo, very simple article. Any guy with a bit of knowledge on the premier league could have written this. Bit about ward-prowse - providing width?? And (when fit)?? As if he suffers badly with injuries often, he's just injured atm.
-
Anyone else think Tadic and Mane are/will be better wingers than J-Rod? I love the guy and think he's been class for us, but it should be him and Pelle fighting for the main CF role imo. And given Pelle's extraordinary adaptation to the premier league, i think he'll struggle to get in the team. But as mentioned above, the injury shouldn't be underplayed, it will take him time to get back into things.
-
Contrast us with Leeds hahaha, told their fans to not go to bed just yet with a smiley face, then announce two departures and tweet 'thats us done guys'.
-
If we were going for a Salzburg winger i'd rather Kampl, but Mane is very decent.
-
Davis was best used under Poch as a CAM, play him there until Gaston is back and let those two fight it out for that spot. Drop JWP for now at least, not strong or quick enough to escape challenges and move the ball on, which is key for a no.10, was bullied by Mulumbu yesterday

Guardian Premier League 2014-15 preview No14: Southampton
rudi7s replied to Toon Saint's topic in The Saints
Excellent article. So often journos/pundits offer under-researched, downright incorrect at times, drivel. This is well balanced and well thought out, whilst being correct in nearly everything stated. -
Personally think that side would be f***ing awful.
-
I understand we do need some players but please don't get that effing Schellotto, I hate it when clubs have players forced upon them. Koeman would have been nowhere near him (or Taider for that matter, but he's half decent so that's fine) if it hadn't have been for the Osvaldo deal. Let our guys identify, find and secure players we want, it will be the only way to come out of this summer with some credibility. Pelle, Tadic, Bertrand and Taider are 4 v. decent signings - lets park those rumours linking us with Samaras and the like and bring in some more quality.
-
anyone know where i can find the video in this thread?
-
Somebody mentioned this on facebook, but I'd not only be massively proud to see Lallana/Rickie/Jay get call ups for England this summer, but to see Fonte and Schneiderlin there would be amazing also. Fully deserved for all 5 imo
-
if we get 20m euros either now or in the summer it would make the whole dani osvaldo saga a bit more palatable. yes please
-
Morgan Schneiderlin is one of the most complete midfielders worldwide. Performances like tonight make me shocked he still plays in a Southampton shirt, just class. Great games from Shaw and Lallana too, and I thought our centre halves were good also, Yoshida in particular - his decision making without the ball is so much better than with it.

I think this lass can't have watched many of our performances this season, especially the games against Liverpool, United, Arsenal and City. While we only won one of those games the performances were spot on and fully evidenced the impact of MPs identity -which is key here. Taking aside games our squad should really win - this is where we were pitted against the 'big boys' and played true to our style and with purpose/direction - again down to MP's stamp on the team. Yes, whilst there will be some flat 5/10 stuff in there along the way the vast majority of our football under MP is why he is highly rated. Stats aside, we have been refreshing and distinctively different in our style since he took over. Its a process that we should all enjoy, and so should journos alike
-
Agree, but actually think it will be out of us and Everton only in fight for 6th. Have seen nothing from Spurs/Newcastle which makes me think they'll last the distance and below that I see no side that we need to worry about.
-
Think the possession aspect is still evident throughout our style of play, but you are right with regards to our tactics defensively. Often deemed too risky, we employ both a high line and a high press, and matched by often superior levels of concentration/fitness/belief when marking/pressing/defending has meant we have breached new ground in the PL.
