  1. It's the joy of supporting a football club. Owners, players, managers and ticket surcharges come and go but the fans remain.
  2. And for the record, and whether he stays or goes. This is the 3rd time MP has dicked around with threatening to go. At some point we might just be better to move on and rebuild rather that having this s*** every time a top job comes up.
  3. I think everyone should consign themselves to the fact MP, Shaw, Lallana, Morgan and Lovren are all off. Therefore any off them that are still left here next season will feel like a bonus.
  4. Why ask other fans when you haven't done a great deal yourselves? Get your fans to start with not filling the stadium and not buying any merchandise and then I'll consider signing.
  5. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/brendan-rodgers-must-spend-wisely-as-liverpools-nearly-men-seek-to-build-on-revival-9348434.html £25m would appear to be the price that would test us. Can't see Liverpool going to that.
  6. Cortese = Tyrion Lannister Dwarf accused of administering poison to disrupt the establishment.
  7. Interesting to see him tweeting lots of pictures today wearing a current Saints FC training top.
  8. Barry, take the night off.
  9. Barry, you are being both boring and tedious. Make your point and stop winding everyone up.
  10. Ethiad Airlines proves this! To answer the OP's point. 1) KL has no connection withe Liebherr business, as do Marcus. 2) Most Shirt deals are B2C companies, not B2B - fridges aside.
  11. Quite, please stay on topic.
  12. To anyone truly worried about one man leaving a sustainable club that has improved its league position every time in the last five years, please read the Adkins meltdown thread.
  13. Was he? Remember Keane being a **** but not Giggs.
  14. Not enough white for me. Stripes not a must for me but we are red and white.
  15. Agreed. But in the industry they are in is you have products that are hot you need to get a shift on before they become outdated. We don't know what the deal is. Perhaps we have got an equity stake, share of sales or revenue increase payments rather than cold hard cash. Still, financial stability doesn't appear to be our key criteria when drawing up our canvass list. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/motorsport/formulaone/f1news/10081762/Lotus-F1s-56m-loss-is-motorsports-biggest.html
  16. Kindly get back on topic and leave Northern Irish politics to The Lounge.
  17. Laughable reaction. I would imagine that they were prepared to pay the most so got the gig. Local company who look to have some pretty decent products run by Saints fans. At least we have a sponsor signed and over the line, not like last years debacle.
  18. That is kind of the point of sponsorship I believe.
  19. The best info can be found on http://www.contractoruk.com forum. There are lots of good service providers who can do all your Ltd Company stuff. PM 'Sold to the man at the bar' who runs just such a company and has the added advantage of being a Saints fan.
  20. I think it would be cheaper to buy Veho
  21. The fact that Alex Crook is posting facts gives me a lot more confidence. Some very close to Adam on here are not concerned. I also am told by someone who is very close to the club that he would be very surprised if he left us based on what he knows. Unfortunately that sort of 'player happy at club he has been at for 15 years following best season in 30 years' doesn't make the news.
  22. This will happen all Summer. My personal view is that Adam is worth more to us than another club is prepared to pay. My reasoning, say Liverpool pay the reported£20m, we trouser £15m and in effect have the funds to go and buy another Osvaldo or Ramirez. Whilst not as bad as many on here have made out - you couldn't compare their value to the team with Adam. Even a player circa that amount who has worked (Big Vic) won't be the fulcrum. Add in the message that we'll sell our best player and captain and it has a far more costly impact for future years. A £25-30m bid would test the clubs bottle, but I cannot see a CL club doing that in the global market. Ultimately I can't see Liverpool paying us what he is worth to us. Their only chance will be if Adam has his heart set on leaving or the club do not show any ambition this summer and he desperately wants out.
  23. Hate to break this to you, everyone has you on ignore.
