Wouldn't surprise me. I think Simon Peach was the first to tweet followed by Solent. It does make you wonder though. With all the saliva tests and mattress hoovering, why a premier league level backup for an essential position hasn't been sourced.

The difference for me was emphasised in Chelsea's second goal. Boruc would have been better positioned and secondly gone for the ball with his left hand, not his right. Boruc is International Class, Gazza has yet to prove he is Prem class.

We have defended well as a unit and Boruc has redeemed himself for last week. Last 10 minutes we started to get a lot more space to counter attack. Osvaldo is a willing runner, but wants too many touches. Adam looks a little off the pace. I'd freshen up with Lambert and Davis after 60 minutes. Midfield is solid, if a little wasteful from Wanyama. Think we need another goal.

To be fair to Turkish he has a reasonable opinion on football and despite his fishing trips is a Saints fan. Not convinced that some others fall into that same category. Anyway, having waded through the BS on here (see what I did there) I have to say what an interesting article it was. It does strike me that we have developed much of the professionalism demonstrated in Rugby by Woodward, Cycling by Brailsford and Cricket by Flower. Premiership football is such a marginal game, these little things could be the difference.
