The times that I have seen him this season he has looked ok. I suspect many trusted the view of our resident Dutch fans over their own eyesight. He's looked solid if not spectacular, apart from the goal, which was Carlosesque.

Although delighted at the win I am pretty ****ed off with the players. They put in a performance like that tonight and you realise they've not been at the races for the past six weeks. We are better set up to counter-attack without Pelle, and his injury forces us to play better football. Hopefully a springboard, similar work rate Monday please.

Just waiting for Clasie and JWP to pop up with a goal or MOTM to complete the Saintsweb write-off accumulator.
