The first I remember was Graeme Souness. Although Dave Merrington was in charge of the first game I attended. Was so young at the time Souness was appointed/went that I didn't really know enough to have an opinion. The first time I really was interested in which manager would come in was when Hoddle shafted us, I wanted us to appoint Redknapp...... Oh dear.

Interesting how some people need to revel in the perceived suffering of others to mask their own insecurities. Personally, I look forward to seeing the club I love do what we do best, evolving and growing. Our club and recent success is not down to one man.

Considering the riches on hand in the league now, that 100m is really not very impressive. So many clubs with ambition, yet only so many places at the top. They cannot all fit. As Leicester showed last year, it needs more then finance to be successful.
