  1. Playing devil's advocate: The higher we go and more we achieve the more difficult it becomes to find available/affordable players of an ability to actively improve our first eleven? 20m is a massive amount, but when players like Ighalo command anticipated fees of 17m, 20m for a French international CB in his mid 20's does not seem entirely incomparable.
  2. Hoping our strikers finally click, the chances we create someone is due an absolute ****ing.

Jurgen Washmaschinen. You heard it here first.
  4. Would put Pelle in as a striking option.
  5. Just hope the turf is as soft as my nivea smooth skin..
  6. Tidy. Do away goals apply in this competition?
  7. On the contrary, let him continue, it's hilarious.
  8. Federico Arias, from Velez Sarsfield.
  9. Mid table and a decent cup run. Had no expectation of continuing our year on year improvement in the league. Having said that, I expect to see our team play in an entertaining manner regardless.
  10. Well, Jamie Oliver closed his restaurant in Winchester because it was dreadfully overpriced and ordinary. Rick Stein was happy to take over the location.
  11. Nice for Merson to be nice about us...... But he is utterly wrong!!! Looked reasonable when he came in but has faded. Maybe a reflection of the squad losing faith in how we are set up?
  12. A shame, but at least he has done it in the correct fashion, waiving any loyalty bonuses or similar. He has earned a final big move for me..... assuming there is any interest. Thanks for the memories Jose.

Shows what another world football was back then.
  14. Had the pleasure of meeting his father while on the way to Milan. Bumped into him at Brussels airport. Lovely chap.
  15. Paul Telfer. A cog in Strachan's machine. Richard Chaplow. Even got his name on the back of my original sash shirt.
  16. Heaven forbid someone in agony would react irrationally and erratically. Just showing themselves up, as is the norm.
  17. Pretty much my own thoughts echoed there.
  18. Based on this line of thinking, I truly doubt your location.
  19. Or, grow a pair and weather the storm. Raging Bull says it plainer then me.
  20. While it would be nice to see some fire and brimstone from the powers that be, I would rather they stayed professional and discrete rather then turn into something like the regime that run West Ham, spouting off whenever a soundbite is required about signings etc. Especially considering that the last time such an evident 'statement' was made, when Everton first went for Koeman, our bullish response was made to be rather foolish by Koeman's lack of integrity. It is frustrating we are not as strong as last year, but after the progress we have made, there were bound to be some bumps in the road eventually.

In his defence, his corners are as good as Lallana's ever were.
  22. To everyone, negative/positive alike; the only pole that matters right now is the north one, Merry Christmas.
  23. Heart: Bring him home. Head: Don't look back, He should go to Leicester, they could really use him.
  24. From pitchside? I think it's a similar set up to the Dell/Old Trafford where the perimeter of the pitch is sunk.
  25. Excellent! Use some of the old line as a walking/jogging route around Kings Worthy/Worthy Down. Thanks for sharing.
