Are they a quality club? That they have struggled so much since Ferguson's retirement highlights to me how poor they are in so many crucial areas. Poor scouting, complacent training. Fergie's cult of personality there was Manchester United, he was bigger then the club. They have massive reach due to their success at the point where the premier league's global profile went exponential, yet, right now, they are looking to be something of a Dinosaur, like Liverpool have been since 1991. Nonetheless, for the right manager they represent a stunning opportunity. Those resources, that support and if given time...... It could be a perfect fit for Pochettino.
