  1. I was. So assume so. Incidentally, looks as though there will be membership cards on their way. The tickets are said to be 'uploaded' when purchased. So that would I assume be to the card.
  2. Excellent work Saints. A great player for at most 0.71 $hlongs.
  3. Drumroll........
  4. 'Rumours' that he asked whether we still had a radio station remain just that.....
  5. Until it's carved in Granite I believe nothing.
  6. Wasn't that bad 25 minutes ago.
  7. It's the #ahem "Clasie" thing to do.
  8. I would certainly be very interested in that!!
  9. I find it quite funny seeing some people demonise Lowe as some kind of evil malevolent entity who existed solely to f**k up our club. It's easy to forget that he lost a fair amount of money too when the club went into administration, yes he was paid handsomely I'm sure to run the show but he put his own money on the line to get involved. He was of course a victim through his own decisions so hopefully I havn't come across as too sympathetic. We all suffered through Lowe's errors, yet at the end of it he was just a businessman trying to keep a self sustaining tight ship. Sadly, that notion was incompatible with running a Premier League club. He didn't have enough clout to push us on, or even to remain competitive. This led to him trying creative approaches with coaching, which ultimately led to further complication and failure. He wasn't all bad and did at least give us St Mary's and a strong academy, but he just was not the right fit. There is only one way to make a small fortune out of football, start with a large one... Rupert Lowe is one of many to learn this the hard way.
  10. They never miss and opportunity to show off their $hlongs.
  11. 1.75 Shlongs.
  12. My money is on Grzegorz Krychowiak, for what little it's worth.
  13. Let's try. Everton - Leighton Baines Aston Villa - Fabian Delph Tricky game this.....
  14. That analogy is better applied to Portsmouth F.C. circa 2010.
  15. He was not our player in the first place, so how could Spurs raid 'us' for him? Aside from that, if a club has a bigger wallet and reputation we will be vulnerable to losing our players. Possibly even more so then Everton/Villa based on the fact we only recently were in League 1. Given time our star will continue to rise. Time.
  16. Higginbotham and Prutton, Jan 2003?
  17. Michael Wilde signed him I believe, after Rupert was ousted the first time.
  18. I would fancy this side for a push at the Champions League: ----------------------- Walcott/Lambert ----------------------- Bale --------------------Chamberlain ------------------- Mane ---------------- Schneiderlin ---- Wanyama ------------------ Shaw/Bertrand -- Fonte ------ Alderweireld --------- Clyne ---------------------------- Forster ------------------------------- Subs: K. Davis, Lovren, Tadic, Pelle, Lallana, Yoshida, Rodriguez Title challengers? Unlikely, not quite enough outright excellence in all areas or defensive depth on top.
  19. Excsellent.
  20. Is there really any value in Jacksons Farm? It keeps being mentioned but what exactly is the point of it?
  21. Why 'blame' anyone? We are in the best position the club has been in in my living memory. Players come and go, even if we had been pushing 2-3 placers further up the league there is no certainty that players would be staying anyway... on commercial terms the clubs immediately above can offer great wages and have better credibility in offering a consistent spell of performing at that level anyway. We are in a position where our squad needs constant managing and reinventing, just like every other club. As long as we keep our scouting focus strong and look to keep taking the money and re-investing in good replacements then we are being run properly. That so many of our players and staff are in demand is a massive (yet perverse) compliment. So let's keep doing what has made us strong and let it lead us forward. To break into the top 6/make it a top 7 will take a very long and pragmatic plan/approach. No jerking knees, keep focused and steadfast.
  22. It just goes to show, while his paddy last summer was terrible, he ultimately showed himself to be a complete professional.... Able to channel himself to the best of his ability. It's good to see that we as fans respect that.

  24. Goodbye Morgan. It's been fun.
