  1. I would fancy this side for a push at the Champions League: ----------------------- Walcott/Lambert ----------------------- Bale --------------------Chamberlain ------------------- Mane ---------------- Schneiderlin ---- Wanyama ------------------ Shaw/Bertrand -- Fonte ------ Alderweireld --------- Clyne ---------------------------- Forster ------------------------------- Subs: K. Davis, Lovren, Tadic, Pelle, Lallana, Yoshida, Rodriguez Title challengers? Unlikely, not quite enough outright excellence in all areas or defensive depth on top.

  3. Is there really any value in Jacksons Farm? It keeps being mentioned but what exactly is the point of it?
  4. Why 'blame' anyone? We are in the best position the club has been in in my living memory. Players come and go, even if we had been pushing 2-3 placers further up the league there is no certainty that players would be staying anyway... on commercial terms the clubs immediately above can offer great wages and have better credibility in offering a consistent spell of performing at that level anyway. We are in a position where our squad needs constant managing and reinventing, just like every other club. As long as we keep our scouting focus strong and look to keep taking the money and re-investing in good replacements then we are being run properly. That so many of our players and staff are in demand is a massive (yet perverse) compliment. So let's keep doing what has made us strong and let it lead us forward. To break into the top 6/make it a top 7 will take a very long and pragmatic plan/approach. No jerking knees, keep focused and steadfast.
  5. It just goes to show, while his paddy last summer was terrible, he ultimately showed himself to be a complete professional.... Able to channel himself to the best of his ability. It's good to see that we as fans respect that.

At least be specific how rather then simply tarring with a broad stroke. Calling names is just cheap my friend.

There are no real alternatives in any of the parties, that's the scary thing. David Cameron is the best we have. No politician is perfect, regardless of how good they are they need a counterpoint......... There is none worth their salt. Symptomatic of the worthless career politicians that blight our country. All of them should be barred from office on principle.

Fight fire with fire mate. People do forget how industry was slaughtered up there. I attended University there in the hope of joining our Automotive industry only to see it vanish........ Peugeot/Chrysler/Talbot, London Taxis International, Jaguar. Survived Thatcher and Major..... died during Blair. The City lost it's means to exist, Detroit without the high rises. (Lti had a Chinese resurrection, big woo). And they still kissed Labour's arse... blinded by dogma, you could fit in well there...... well, until you call them Northern! haha. Yes, Fair is subjective..... I'm looking for those very suggestions.

The first politician in modern history to be consistent across the board. Lets face it, if you are going to be utterly hostile do it at the beginning of your remit..... not when you want further authority in 4 years time.

Way to focus on the NHS minutae rather then the bigger questions I posted. You Labour lot are all the same! Re-read my previous points and try again. What is a perfect NHS exactly? Don't we just want something fair?

Another wonderful contradiction. Big Government........ Like the extended nation state that Labour prefer. Like in Coventry, the city that labour betrayed, my home city for a decade. A city that lost everything, yet still kissed Labour's arse. On the GP's point, my highly paid GP, in the aforementioned Coventry, failed to spot a simple penicillin allergy in me with almost fatal consequences, and also failed to spot my other half's appendicitis....... There needs to be more then just personal discretion in these matters I feel. And no, the Tories do not, and are not getting rid of the NHS. It is being funded better now then ever before...... As I said, as you ignore. It is personally, as a conservative, not a desire of mine to destroy the NHS or the welfare state.... And at least for the last 30 years that has simply not been the case. It just has to be FAIR! As a question, under Labour was the NHS ever perfect? It's a marvelous political tool isn't it? Used as a weapon...... a stick to beat the other with....... Just what is the end game? Do we not both want something fair? Strip away the socialist/capitalist dogma....... Don't we just want something fair? (now, try defining fair, hahaha!!!!!)

As usual there is always a crossover with these things. It's just a matter of what is leading the way. The cart or the horse? Those that need help DO need the welfare state. I'm conservative, not monstrous. So, how do you generate a system that is immune to abuse, can help those that need it and get the c*nts that undermine it for those that are needy back to work? Whether it is better to be harsh or soft...? No right answer. It's personal preference. Both are undesirable.... So it ultimately comes down to what you prefer? Suffer now or suffer later? Because nothing is f**king perfect.

Work and effort always has value. It's never for it's own sake. It's one of those areas where socialism and capitalism share an odd cross over.

So we should encourage dependence on the state for those that do not need it? A welfare state is noble, a population dependent on it's own state is self destroying. Thank f**k the madness is coming to an end. Do you oppose a society where those that can work do work? Or, do you propose that we stick to a system that sees a population needing it's state rather then a state needing it's people?

I'm not expecting things to be rosey. Looking at the outside world it's not going to be. When will you red-backsided lot realise that we need to live sensibly to stand any chance in the face of a world full of countries who are destroying the wealth advantage that previously existed that you lot helped to squander..... and there is nothing, nothing that Labour would have done significantly differently to the current status quo to make any difference. We are about to enter the first generation in living memory where the living standards will be worse then the previous one. Prepare for the storm, do not sleep walk into it. As for poor and disabled people downsizing the UK, no..... But there is a generation of people who feel entitled to take from the state not contribute to it. A creation of Labour's environment that undermine's the welfare state's very point.... a creation that should support the needy but be supported itself by those who work. This country has never been as rich as Labour believed, and it propped up a generation. Now they are feeling a pinch due to their arrogance and shortsightedness. Do I think Labour intended ruin? No, but they pandered to easy answers and popular swell. Their idiocy nearly f**ked us all.

Downsizing and destruction are not the same thing you know. Come to mention it, how can you destroy the NHS by pouring more money into it? Is that the same principle as Labour commissioning more hospitals then leaving the next administration the bill? (But they are so evil!!!! Having to pay for our contractual obligations.....)

At the very least the 33% who didn't bother turning up should indeed stfu! It was the highest turnout since Blair. Yet I do not remember placards and protests when only 59% turned out in 2001.
  25. I don't hate them, I pity them. It's quite funny that they have no modern ideas of their own so try and steal those of others and always wonder why it never quite works for them. Better to follow a team that punches above it's weight then one that will always aspire to more then is achievable. The unexpected is always more enjoyable then the events you feel entitled to.
