A very good point. Jos Hooiveld can be Hodor.
-
Brilliant! But who would be the cast members? Joffrey Baratheon - Nicola Cortese? Katharina Liebherr - Cersei Lanister? Les Reed - Hodor?
-
Some of Cortese's 'little birds' perhaps.

As I understand it MSE is inbuilt into Windows 8? Is that correct? On that basis is there any point downloading further Antivirus/Spyware/Malware software onto a Windows 8 system?

Interesting article but one which stumbles onto the same crude (but true) conclusion and convention. Resources matter.

Frankly: Yes. It's not just about immigration, it's about a longer term desire for control of our own affairs.

He openly slagged off Guly. NEVER openly slag off Guly!! In all honesty, his absence probably spoke more then his posting ever could. He had a week away, all was actually quite nice. On return he didn't have a prayer.

Dario Gradi has been linked with a return to management today at Southampton. The Crewe veteran and current academy director at Gresty Road is set to be offered a shock return to front line management and a first stab at the Premier League by Chairman Ralph Kruger......

There's certainly inspiration to be taken. They have a knack of unearthing stars and are in a constant state of replacing the ones they sell, the most impressive thing is that they have managed to re-invest wisely and use it as a foundation to progress.

Well, on that basis may I be the first to jump on the 'I hope he comes good for us' campaign?

Any good game demos around where I can test the graphical capabilities of this rig?
-
Well, here's the system requirements. http://www.game-debate.com/games/index.php?g_id=3734&game=The%20Elder%20Scrolls%20Online Check Eclipse Computers (Google them) and you can spec a system as you wish. They are the firm I bought my components from.

This week shall always be remembered as cull week. Good times.

Quite, it was very refreshing to see a new group of faces contributing.

Same here. The last few days have actually been enjoyable, good conversation and exchange of views. Then that bad egg re-appears.

I'm going to miss him, have some great memories of his time here. All the best to Guly.

Ok, all cables secured, but: The hard drive is not being recognised by the computer. The only thing missing is a four pin attachement next to the power supply and sata cables on the back of the unit. Model is a Seagate Baracuda St1000dm003 1Tb I've been into the BIOS and it has detected that it's there, but go into Windows Explorer and it isn't there. Any ideas? Edit: All sorted, hadn't realised that I needed to go into Disc management and Initialise the thing. All taken care of now.

Just under £600 including operating system.

Entirely forgettable film, but the music score for 'Equilibrium' just works wonderfully.

Oh not another one! We would struggle to replace him, at this rate it doesn't matter how much we bring in there will not be enough time to spend it on a new side!
-
Christ! Loadsa money! Based on what he has done with our team and the need for consistency should one or two players go, he is actually worth it in my mind.
-
Well, that was easier then I expected! Aside from being one SATA cable short (for the 1 Tb hard drive) and needing a HDMI to VGA adapter (I'm running this through my television, VGA out in either the motherboard or graphics card) it fitted together easily and runs like a dream! Having RAM with green LED's attached to it may become rather tiresome though.

Taking inspiration from above I have now speced the components to build my own PC for the price that pap quoted as being excellent for my purpose. The components are (in a nutshell) AMD Vishera 4.2 GHz processor. Asus M5A97 Motherboard. XFX 2 Gb AMD Graphics card. Crucial Ballistix Tracer 16Gb DDR 3 ram 1 TB Hard Drive with 60 Gb solid state to run the OS. XFX 650w Power supply. Should be more then enough to keep me going (And make my desire to buy an Xbox One redundant? That's a topic for a different fractious thread)! Now to build the thing. Never done this kind of thing before.... should be interesting!

Lallana's screamer against Newcastle. Most satisfying.
