  1. Time to edit the opening post. And see post 6.
  2. Did Tord Grip have anything to do with the scouting of Vegard Forren? Far be it to tar the new guy with the same brush but naturally there's a hope past mistakes are not repeated.
  3. Head in hands moment.... Not that I wish to pass the buck onto Dad at all.... but well, he was adamant... and far be it to second guess my own father. Lesson learnt!
  4. We specifically checked the website to be sure but it wasn't stated. C'est la vie now anyway, will know to be more careful in future.
  5. According the website it now is. A shame, looks like we could have sold this out a few times over!
  6. Parody man returns. Have fun.
  7. I barely post on here compared to times past so how the f**k can I hijack 'another one' you needlessly sarcastic fool!?
  8. You never change and i'm not going to bother explaining any further. As for the point in bold, yes, they have. You would think now that our club is in a fairly prominent position that there would be increased interest on here but no, it's stagnant and utterly hostile to those outside of a core ten posters. People like Shroppie come on here to chat and they just get someone immediately casting judgement on a perceived lack of footballing knowledge and insulting them for a lack of it. It's a pity.
  9. He has his moments, but i'm not crediting him with being that deep this time. That was just a needles sarcastic dig at someone. Arrogance and vindictiveness are not mutually exclusive.
  10. Did you really have to insult the guy? Really Turkish? Perhaps you should stop looking for a reaction and treat the other users on here with a bit of decorum before they all get annoyed and leave.
  11. Poorest at the Brittania this season? Well, they did get a point from us!
  12. I was just asking around after the game and told that. Saw two guys restrained and removed.
  13. At the end of the game you mean? Saw that from my place in block 39 at the end. Apparently a steward confiscated a childs camera after he took a few snaps of players as they left the field. A few of our own stepped in on the kids behalf. Jobsworth steward operating within the law whilst missing the law's point entirely.

Wayne f##king Bridge. There, I said it. Now you don't have to.
  15. That Sheffield Wednesday one was Crossley, last minute equaliser in a 3-3. Was definitely Dec '06. Odd but good game... with a bizarre sucker punch!

  17. Odd match, we didn't hit our stride fully today, especially in the second half. Still by far the better team and had it not been for that freak goal we should have won. All credit to Stoke for getting into us, it seemed to have the desired effect in the closing stages. The weather conditions interfered so much though, their goal was carried by the wind, yet our equaliser looked certain to be going over until a gust held it in play allowing it to drop into the net. I've never seen four corner flags point in distinctly different directions at the same time. Ward-Prowse was exceptional, Lambert did well leading the line. Jay and Adam looked excellent on the ball. Dejan Lovren deserves praise for being a truly imposing and dynamic presence, even breaking forward to try and keep us moving at times. Our centre midfield was left a little ragged towards the end, quite un-Saintly. I'll take the point from a weird afternoon.
  18. Jesus, been there for the last two occasions when Goalkeepers have scored against us. Crossley in December '06 and now this!
  19. It's a fair point, but some of the best goals have been speculative punts. If you don't try you don't get.
  20. Rich, Sneering old man. Shirty Man (Appropriate for the player I think)
  21. Jesus, he was. March 2005. The results: Saints 1-0 Spurs Middlesbrough 1-3 Saints And that was it, only two games that month. Gained only 5 points from the last 8 matches aferwards. Also the only man to get a manger of the month award for both us and the Skates in the same season.
  22. You say that, yet it was very much an unexpected result last year. Stoke had the best defence in Europe at the time and we were only just starting to look as though we could consistently play at the level. To be 3-1 up on 30 minutes was astonishing, yet Stoke showed their determination and strengths at the time when down to ten men, that Cameron Jerome equaliser was astoundingly good. Do like how Merson is actually consistent in what he says and predicts, some more veteran pundits could learn from that.
  23. Thankyou for that Bender, great memories.
  24. It's local internets for local people, we'll have no trouble here.....
