Establishing a 'Saints Web Forum' Fans Representative.

Bang on. It's about communicating concerns, not mass sweeping generalisations. If it ever got to that point the idea would lose credibility, much like Illingsworth et all have already. -
Establishing a 'Saints Web Forum' Fans Representative.

Which shows what a joke it is. At one point it HAD 1000 members. I would doubt it has a tenth of that now. -
Following on from the 'Saints Trust meeting' thread this idea has come up. It is a distinct possibility that Saints Web Forum is the largest paid membership unofficial fans 'thing' that Southampton FC has. We obviously represent a wide snapshot of the opinions of the fanbase and as such could be seen as being better served then an organisation like the Saints Trust to represent fan opinion. There are a few 'worries' in recent club policy that yes, do need to be addressed. Regardless of personal opinion that is clear to see, and taking ourselves as an organisation to represent fan opinion makes clear sense. So, the questions I see are as follows. 1) Would the mods and administrators of this community be happy to allow the formation of an elected representative to convey the views of the forum to the wider media/club? 2) Do the members of the forum itself see this as worthwhile? and of course..... 3) How would the formation of a 'constitution' for this idea be managed if it was seen to be a good idea? There is a lot of open subject matter here. However, as a raw idea. It's a start.

Nope, we're going wayyyyy back.

Dear Mr Luddite Many thanks for your enquiry, the current score totals are present in post #001 of this thread. With Kind Regards Quizmaster Col.

Who was the first Southampton player to score a home hat-trick against the Skates?
-
Sweeeeet. Ok, my question to follow.

Don't forget undersoil and plant food. My god if he does it properly, yes, the grass will grow, but the plastering and structure of the house will be utterly buttf*cked.
-
Agreed. 3,500 logged on last month, on top of that, how many paid members are there on here? Could we be part of the largest independant 'paid membership' Southampton FC fans group? If so, it renders the Saints trust null and void as the voice for the fans, it would be this forum.

By card over the phone, about a week ago.

It will be as good as dead by England's second game. What a 'kin turnip.

Wondering if we'll ever see Delgado play.

Scores updated now. Points given where definable over the last few pages. Reminder, questions must have ONE definable answer. Incidentally, the answer to this one is: Neville. (Steve Neville I believe)

Indeed, easily their best album. As for what i'm listening to now. Lacuna Coil - Karmacode.

Says the guy who started asking ungradable questions thus ruining the whole thing. Anyhow, back on topic?

Android: 'The Griffins offer is just not workable, there would not be a football club left.' Erm, further proof he is not working in the best interest of the creditors.

Or Jermaine Wright, or Lloyd James, or Paul Telfer, or A.N.Other

No. Like in all things though, the ones who shout loudest are often very few in number. The 'If you are not with me you are against me' attitude that can be so rediculous.
-
And to those who have had this taken from them I can sympathise, but to go all millitant on the issue is utterly daft. That kind of reaction is bringing out the worst in a lot of people. But hey, i'm just a "cyber c*nt," what do I know!

It's not snobbery, just two opposing ideals. Spending what you can in one go when you have the full amount, or pay 'on tick.' Different ideals seem right to different people (just like in politics.) That in itself is not wrong, or bad if people hold different viewpoints, but it is wrong if people lose perspective with it. Perspective has certainly been lost here.
-
Rupert Lowe. Someone had to say it.
-
Absolutely, in more ways then one.
-
No, I pity the fact it means so much to you. Not the necessity for a payment plan. I believe you have lost perspective and this proves it, you are focusing on incediary words and taking them as sweeping insults rather then the actual meaning of them. Calm down.
-
No, I am a consultant engineer. I'm going to stop now, as you are quite clearly fixated on this issue beyond reason. If you really need a payment plan THAT badly, for something that is a luxury item, for leisure purposes, then my word, I pity you. Cut your cloth accordingly for a year... like many of us have HAD to do before even considering getting a season ticket and then, only then, buy one in.
