  1. Ché Adams, 1-0 on 2 minutes. Held off his defender well to turn and finish.
  2. Loved Crouchy. I was very skeptical when he signed him, thinking it was a bit pointless to bring him in when we had Pahars, Ormerod, Phillips and Beattie. Clearly the wisdom of those in the club shone (rarely) through that year. Saw him play a reserve game v Leicester that year at Rockingham Road, Kettering. Cold tuesday night, he scored one or two, looked great then got into the first team properly and gave us a little hope in that poor year. A rare breed of good natured, down to earth but very talented sportsman. Football is poorer for his retirement.
  3. Maya Yoshida v Aston Villa
  4. Trottman. He has a chance of lasting the rest of the game without injury. (Yes, i'm aware we are in injury time.)
  5. If only they had spared comment on his knees....... (up mother brown......)
  6. Alan Bennett. He did look really useful for a spell but was always tarred with that horrible game.
  7. Following in the footsteps of Tommy Forecast. Poor sod.
  8. Any many, many people acting as though it was normal beer. That was quite funny.
  9. Loved that away day, hopefully not a once in a lifetime... But if it was no regrets! The strike thankfully didn't effect our party, with easy travel in and out at Linate airport. Couldn't help but feel that as impressive as the San Siro is they certainly don't make them like that anymore. The concrete shell that comprised the upper tier with the various amenities and walkways stuck on the outside of it.
  10. Cannot grudge Ryan a move, particularly to a CL club abroad. We need someone else to replace him though, Targett is not good enough. Even if Ralph can do his wing backs formation properly, he doesn't convince me.

    Che Adams

Birmingham possibly about to 'Do a Rupert Lowe' by overpromoting the youth team.
  12. Any possibility of some bonus payments for our ex players helping them to win the CL?
  13. People that saunter down streets with little care if they are holding anyone up. Already mentioned, people drive at 40mph everywhere.
  14. Interesting club to link with, S-Pulse are not the biggest in terms of resources in the J-League but they have earned a reputation for punching above their weight. Only formed in 1991, they have reached ten cup finals. They also have a really good relationship with their local area.
  15. Hope he does well under a good manager. Who was the last player to return from a loan out under dubious circumstances and kick-on? Puncheon?
  16. The new Bournemouth shirt has a striped back.
  17. Ok. I like it.
  18. They let us vote on the Yellow away kit too from memory. By fate that kit would be the cup final shirt.
  19. I'm going to wait until I see the shirt in person, maybe i........... No, that's the worst striped kit since 06/08.
  20. Have to agree. I have known bearable Spurs fans, not so much for the Scousers. Also influences the decision. Poch's interview right now. Compare his emotion to Klopp's demeanour......
  21. Wow, that was madness. The last two nights have shown why football is so loved.
  22. Can't help but think how much Tadic would be worth now too. One of the best hopes for stopping that smug lot in the final.
  23. Still would be happy with Silva. Everton had an odd spell but have looked good recently. Ralph was a bolt from the blue mind, considering his reputation and our position it is amazing he took us on.
  24. Thinking of pubs on match days, do any in/near the city centre show our away games?
  25. Had the pleasure of meeting his Dad at Brussels airport while en-route to Milan in Oct 2016. Really nice guy, his family still has a lot of affection for Saints.
