  1. I read from that that Wotte admires the resilience and mentallity he has developed due to his injuries. So if he can get fit, he will get a chance.
  2. The disasterous Dodd/Gorman reign was the problem. Under Burley it was mid table, then an almighty slump followed, fitness suffered and Pearson came in and did his bloody best to save a sinking ship. Thank heavens he achieved it.
  3. I will only eat humble pie if we get back into Europe or reach a cup final with Lowe at the helm, until then he is just clearing up his own mess.
  4. It is such a relief to see the team finally start to get things right, and with only one main addition to the squad in Saeijs. The horrifically poor appointment of Poortvliet by Lowe coupled with the youth policy could easily have had us in Charlton's position already. There is no way he will ever admit his error but the mixture of youth and experience now in the team is probably the closest we'll get to a recognition of error. It is now evident that this squad always had the ability to be safe in this league yet one of Rupert Lowe's moments of inspiration could have seen us plummet... Again. Until he has gone, or at the very least removed from decision making responsibility we will never be secure or run totally effectively. What is to stop him having another Wigley/Gray/Poortvliet gamble? All campaigns for his removal and searches for a replacement must continue, but crucially all support for the first team must also remain positive and focus to ensure we are in a strong position for when the day he departs for good comes. Here's looking forward to Brum. COYR
  5. That would match the other safety 'measures' of the time then.
  6. Mixed Emotions So, so, SO delighted we have won three in a row, it'll feel so good to be able to talk about Saints with optimism and pride again for a change. So, SO angry that on this basis the season has been wasted on this evidence, the squad has always been good enough, but management decisions have YET A-F*CKING GAIN caused us fans, the ones who essentially keep the club going, another season of worry, poor league positions and heartbreak. We could have been up there this year, we are capable of beating very good championship sides and always had the right amount of talent in the team. I don't care how well we do, a viable alternative to Rupert Lowe and the existing board must be found as soon as possible, he must not be allowed another moment of 'inspiration.' But hey, time to enjoy the win and feeling that we may just about be able to look ahead with optimism.
  7. Excellent news. All the best to him.
  8. Jan was always out of his depth, seriously, what was his appointment all about!? I'm sure 'The Snake' will have known about Saeijs anyway, I suspect it was Wotte who wanted him.
  9. Make me even more angry about the first 28 games of the season if i'm honest.
  10. God bless the Mule GET THE **** IN THERE!!!!! And in the delay of the sending Patterson makes it three, god why couldn't we have done this earlier in the season.
  11. And Saturday when I did your dirty work for you.
  12. Jan's finish cousin has scored for Greenock Morton. 'Erik Paartalu'
  13. Yes! Get in there mule!!!!
  14. Size goal dissallowed
  15. Hopefully so. May be worth calling their ticket office on the morning of the game.

  17. A few runners up from me, the Jordan 191 always looked pretty much bang on to me, cleanlines, and a distinctive yet simple livery, magic. The livery is much a muchness but in terms of how the car looks, it's proportions look utterly correct to me. From no angle does it look bad. The Ferrari 156, utterly distinctive and all the better for it. The Brabham BT52, a very purposeful looking machine, and finally: More beautiful simplicity in design, the best looking non sponsored Lotus for me.

  19. Shame that is now synonymous with our relegation year, I always thought it worked quite well.
  20. Booking fees on tickets. An utter f**king liberty. Bloody idiots who do 40mph everywhere, including 30mph zones and believe they are the safest drivers on the road for it. And, quite topically, people who drive aggresively at junctions, just because it seems that something isn't coming doesn't mean it ISN'T! I'll be sure in my own f**king time and if you want to take a risk do it when I'm at least 1km away from you. Tyre kickers, in every walk of life.
  21. Oh do calm down. In my own minds eye I felt it could be an amusing thing, He emerges, and then all of a sunden that music comes on! If you can't have a little black humour at times of trial you really are in for a bad time. Personally, as previously stated, 'The Saints are Coming' by the Skids is surely perfect, something quite individual to us and lively enough to get the crowd going.
  22. No, that should be played when our glorious chairman appears to take his seat from the exec lounge.
  23. Sheena Easton! ha!
  24. Could just as easily be a straight bloke, gay bars are a great place to meet girls.
