  1. A simple yes or no would suffice. I understand its an emotive issue and many viewpoints will want to be stated, but there are other threads for that, the purpose of this one is to understand what proportion of the fanbase would back it. For me: Yes Running total: Yes: 23 No: 9 Ambivalent: 6 Conditional*: 1 *Applies only if you feel we must be playing at St Mary's or hold a similar tie to the existing/potentially expiring entity
  2. You forget option c) The founding of a new club at a lower league level by the fanbase. A continuation of the club by those it exists for, us, the fans.
  3. Forty million!? I have to say, I always found it slightly suspicious that we where always operating 'on the cheap' when clubs of an identical scale like Blackburn and Bolton where comparitively comfortable. It just didn't add up to me and if there has been money raided from our accounts under the banner of the PLC I would not be at all surprised.

A contingency must be made even if it is not eventually required, its a very prudent thing to do. The moves must be made to ensure that we have a club of some sort next year. I'm not sure what help I can give considering that I live ooop north and have an engineering background but I will be happy to if required.
  5. Has he earnt the right to have time to win that respect though? It would be his third bite at the Cherry, his first was shrewd for a time then turned to disaster, second an unmittigated failure. I have absolutely no inclination to give that man the time of day, therefore I would back any new club that may form from our ashes.
  6. Always good to have a plan B just in case.
  7. If required, I am in.
  8. Why can't that eccentric just F*CK OFF!!!? He's lost everything he had invested and now he wants to toy with us further. Idiot is not the word.
  9. Agreed. the very thought of them returning has me checking local midlands fixtures.
  10. If the administrators have any sense they will laugh the bid away, especially as we have alternatives. Tarnished by association, surely.
  11. Oh for pities sake.....
  12. Disrespectful to every club at that level. I fear we need a time in the darkness to shake the big time charlie mentality from our fans. If we had a support base like Stoke we would be a lot better off.
  13. This is a surreal feeling. Oh well. We are on level terms with Yeovil, Swindon, Northampton and Leeds. You must fight through the bad times to appreciate the good, our time will come again.
  14. Hmmmmmmmm, Shiny.
  15. As he passed it, I really don't think we need to worry too much.
  16. Possibly the most undignified sight i've ever seen at St Mary's, so please I was not part of it and stayed in the stand. Ripping apart your own stadium in desperate times is quite frankly appalling. We deserve everything we get.
  17. Brilliant! Get me a few of them barman!
  18. Or, better yet, if they have any respect for football.
  19. My mates are buying it for me!
  20. OH WHEN THE SAINTS! GO MARCHING IN....... Pubs rule, as do saints, in the long run anyway. WE WILL BE BACK!
  21. Regardless of the rights and wrongs of him assuming such responsibility, its excellent to see someone fighting for our clubs future right now.
  22. What he meant to say was that he was protecting the club from it's future fans.
  23. Ah, but who are they?
  24. That would be mine too. The day Rupert showed he had no respect for the institution and role that is the 'football maanger.'
