    Lambert

A Nicola Cortese special I would say. He did want to delight and surprise us. So far, so good!

To be fair, your opening comment was a little vague. You have been rather good with your sources recently I must say.....

    Same old OS?

It has been a good month.

Fulham signed Peschisolido for 1 mill or so back in 1997.

Rasiak will be off, but I hope we can retain Saga.

I am loving reading that. That we are signing Lambert is a true statement of intent to the division.

Throw in a decent CM and some proper wingers at the same time and we will really be rocking! But one step at a time! Lambert would be awesome!
  8. And just how warm and fuzzy a feeling is that! The guy in charge seems to actually care about the club! Not just the cash.
  9. I can't wait to hear your Al-Fahim anecdotes.
  10. I understand that the club crest came about after a competition was held in the 60's/early 70's. I would love to know who designed it! For no reason other then my own curiosity.
  11. lol @ this. Would love it though.
  12. Just keep it dragging on, right now it's allllllllll good.
  13. It's always good to look where you have come from, and appreciate the greener grass at your point of arrival.
  14. This is meant to be a happy thread, down negative man down. We are in a better place now.
  15. For believing your own ideas could work, for leading us to administration and for ensuring that we could be taken over by someone who, as things stand, seems to understand how to deal with us fans and with the resources to give us the hope we have dearly needed for so long. And all at your own cost..... how generous.
  16. An outstanding interview. The sentiment is there now lets see the actions follow the words.

    Atmosphere

Totally agree! We are far too hospitable and welcoming. Well, frankly, f**k that, it's our club, our stadium, when you get here abide by OUR rules and if you don't like it f**king LUMP IT.
  18. They would have to be either clinically insane or rich beyond imagination to do so...
  19. Even if it is just noise at this stage. How good is it be run by a proper chairman after 12 years of Lowe and a brief interlude of Wilde. Where did that quote come from btw?
  20. S**t club, no fans. FACT.
  21. +1 Give it time, I'm sure we will....
  22. And the signings we have so far made obviously are trying to address that. We will get a few more in and finally have a bit of muscle to compliment the skill.
  23. For however is interested: Norwich 0-5 Colchester WHAT!? Back on topic though. Saga dissapointed me, I would rather have a less skillful player who wants to get stuck in out there then a luxury man who doesn't want to be there.
  24. We need better strength in depth to make an impact on this league. Conceeded from a set piece, very dissapointing and gave away a needless penalty. Excellent debut from Murty, Harding doesn't look the most mobile (comment from guy in pub, he has 'the turning circle of a tanker.') but we looked fairly cohesive. A few more signings and we will be right up there.
  25. The Premiership may be hard to get into, but once you are there you must be as sharp and stable as possible or you will suffer. Us, Charlton, Newcastle and Leeds learned that the hard way, I believe the Skates are going to experience it this year. I would far rather be in our shoes, a decent infrastructure based on sound foundations rather then a prefab built on sand. If Relegation occurs for the Skates this year, who will want them?
