I've been in favour of something like this for a long time now, anything that can even out the differential between the league and Premiership can only be a good thing. It may take a loooooooooong time for us to be back in with a shout of getting there though.

They invested in the club to make money, not plough it in. It would have been a conflict of interest for them, especially as they had no more to spare for the purpose!
