SIW, our flat is on Playa La Mata beach, which is like Sandbanks, faces east, just to the north of the main town; Torrevieja has a nice centre with two beaches facing SW smaller cove like, depending on wind direction/strength which to choose. It has an evening market, loads of nice restaurants, tapas bars, and an area of later bars for the younger tourists/locals. To the south of the town a popular local cove beach is La Xenia, gets busy. Alot up to whether you have a family, like the beach, swimming, and/or eating out drinking etc. We rent out our flat (2 beds sleeps 4 OK) if you like it and want to go again - Flybe from Soton to Alicante, Ryanair to Murcia as well. Mind the rip off car hire companies! Cheers, Graham K.

Keep calm and support the Saints! Christ if our team were as bipolar as most aficionados on here I would rip my hard earned season ticket up. Davis was at fault for the first goal, soft; second was all Gazzas fault, soft; 2-0 down to a team fighting for their lives was always going to be difficult, but the team did try. Clyney got whacked early in the second half; Bertrand overlapped in the first half but had no outlet with Elia who was awful, as was S Davis, sorry Steve; Vic had no luck or no protection from the ref. Bottom line is defence is fine, but if your strikers cannot hold the ball and move the opposition defence around then you huff and puff all day but you won't blow a house down with Robert Huths head as a magnet for the ball. Just watched BT back; Ben Davies and Morgans stoppages combined 6mins 30 secs, so why only 30 secs for 6 substitutions?? Said at the time should have been 9-10 mins.

BT Sport had a list of players who have had many shots and no goals, Davis was on that list with 26 this season, so add 3 today and 14 months with no goal its no wonder we let 2 points slip, so frustrating. Not had much rub of the green lately either. 3 very hard games coming up now! All relegation fighters….
