  1. Hindsight is a wonderful thing but over a year on from his sacking I’m convinced that Russell Martin staying would’ve meant we got more points in the Premier League and we’d be in a better position now. We’ll never know but surely consistency has to be better than the chopping and changing from Martin, to Juric, to Rusk, to Still and now Eckhart?
  2. Ipswich were below us. They’ve made very few changes over the Christmas period, none of this rotation bollocks. Now they firmly hunting down the autos. Ipswich will win the league.
  3. It got me thinking of all the keepers I’ve seen play for us - Jones, Niemi, Paul Smith, Blayney, Richard Wright, Keller, Bialkowski, Davis, Boruc, Gazzaniga, Gunn, Forster, McCarthy, Stekelenberg, Bazunu, and Lumley. What an era! 😂 Where do I start the rankings?
  4. Just a loan then. They haven’t got £8m they can shell out on a keeper.
  5. He’ll be shipped out on loan next season. Most probably be at Coventry after they get promoted.
  6. Great PR for Sport Republic “we’re doing it right guys” 😂
  7. I see. Well almost no fans will be doing that 😂
  8. What protests?
  9. BACK FIVE WILL RETURN! ITS TONDA TIME! Peretz; Fellows, Harwood-Bellis, Wood, Stephens, Manning; Downes, Bragg; Scienza, Armstrong, Archer
  10. This exactly. I have a cousin from the other end of the M27 who does exactly the same thing. If you feel the need to post about your rivals regularly then you’re probably craving for the attention or recognition that you don’t deserve. Needless to say, we don’t speak. 🤦🏻‍♂️
  11. Agree with Kitch. I didn’t want him to get the role but he made it hard for him not to with that run. It was excellent. But what we’ve seen since is nothing short of underwhelming, careful, fearful and incompetent. Abysmal game management of players over the winter period too.
  12. Just shows Tonda is full of shit in his press conferences; but als sees what we see I suppose. A new GK brought in as soon as possible. The supposed “number one” for us loaned out with almost immediate effect. McCarthy doesn’t even get in ahead of a GK that signed two days earlier and had hardly played for six months. Shows what he thinks of him. Dog shit or cow shit analogy springs to mind
  13. I think most managers, or my mistake, “head coaches” are all doomed to fail with Sport Republic here.
  14. Would’ve loved to see Ole Gunner Solskjaer. Thought he got the team playing excellent stuff when he was at Man United.
  15. And yet we’re looking at them as a “they’ll batter us if they play like this” in two weeks time 😢
  16. Dynamics and ways of working have changed. Rasmus can put it best “if it ain’t broke, consider breaking it”. The way the business operated changed drastically.
  17. True. But if it deflects from him being in the Epstein Files then he'll drag it out. It's the same with this coup of Venezuelan oil, the talk of wanting to take Greenland - they're all excellent distraction tactics. Unfortunately, mainstream media won't point this out, and unfortunately a lot of Americans are just simply too ignorant/stupid to understand.
  18. A video shows it all. In fact there's a couple circulating. He just shot her because he is ICE and because far-right loonies are protected by the far-right government.
  19. You could stop posting.
  20. Sport Republic took over in January 2022 and as soon as they took over results started going backwards. Cracking start. It started going wrong very early on. It was the summer after where they decided to chuck together a management team and hope it works. I wonder how much meddling was going on behind the scenes. From what I hear from a couple of people nowadays - they're are horrendous to work for.
  21. In all honesty and with no malice, I don’t mind the disagreement and discussion, I have varying views about a lot of things. But as soon as it is clear that it’s done with the intention to piss off and get a reaction - that’s where I lose interest in that person and their opinions. Unfortunately, you’re nearly at the point of no return with that. Just have a think before you post mate.
  22. Looks like my previous comments towards @Fabrice29 was deleted by the mods. Again, it was a fair question. I’m all for open debate but every response that Fabrice provides is done to incite disagreement and anger. There is way more to life than getting hung up over one persons “decision making”.
  23. Stumbled across this. How times have changed.
  24. I voted for mid table mediocrity. I think one of Azaz or Fellows will leave in the summer, and I’ve got to be honest I couldn’t care which one. Neither have lit up the world. Azaz goes through hot and cold streaks, not something you want from a player in his position that should be dictating the game. Fellows, as much as he is playing out of position and has been largely ok, all I see from him is constant step overs, take it to the goal line and try and dink in a cross. Granted yesterday Matsuki got to it but that’s the first time out of 638,549,639 attempts this season that that has succeeded. He’s ok, but very overrated by many on here. That’s how low we have fallen. His finishing is atrocious too.
  25. They must be fucking high.
