I can only presume you didn’t watch it because you were too busy looking for grammatical errors on this forum. But Ipswich spent a lot of time on the ground last week. I’m sure they did speed up a little after going behind. However, they were still incredibly poor, and given a life line with an extremely soft penalty.

We’re winning this 2-1. Dibling will be in the squad but won’t play a part. Ipswich have been poor so far this season, big opportunity to pick them off early. Fully expecting a scrappy game, but based on what I watched of Ipswich last week I imagine they’ll fall over a lot, try and con officials and generally time waste.

I thought Dibling came through as a AM player but Russell Martin stuck him out wide to fit him in the team? I’d like to hope a wi her or two are on their way in. Playing five at the back is just sacrificing an attacking option. I’d argue Fraser is a wide player, Adam Armstrong is better as a wide player too.

There’s something about him that I stills a lot of confidence. His man-management seems very good for someone with little “experience”.

I reckon if Tyler Dibling is still here come the end of the window then he’ll sign a new contract. I’m sure his agent will be trying to get every cent after missing out on a bumper summer pay day. Probably would have a hefty release clause in it.

Hutchinson leaving Ipswich is good news for us. Leicester still have a fairly strong squad with creative players. One or two additions for us and we’re in a strong position.

It’ll be interesting to see if Tyler Dibling is in any training photos over the next couple of days. If he’s reintegrated then you could argue a deal isn’t close. Saints seem content to lose him now, me included, just so long as we get some wide attacking players in to make up for it. In other news, an online outlet is reporting we’re happy to see Will Smallbone leave this summer.

On the bright side Will Still had confirmed today/last night that Armel Bella-Kotchap is not in his plans and is free to leave. 10/10 window straight away there. 😂 I’ve read one comment on social media saying “where I’d fit go so wrong for him, he looked world class at one stage”. To which I thought “No he didn’t, he’s made of glass, terrible injury record, rarely put in a shift and a very questionable attitude”. 🤷🏻‍♂️

A LB we don’t really need, Ryan Mannning really isn’t as bad as people make out, he was fine the year we went up and arguably he was one of two or three that consistently put in a shift last season. If we were to get a LB it would be good to go for Andre Garcia at Reading, highly thought of, close to home and wouldn’t cost much. I can’t see Welington being part of WS’s long term plans. A RB with pace would put pressure on Yuki Sugawara. It’s wider players and pace that we need, we need to have a counter attacking force about us. It’s clear WS wants us to break quickly and so far we haven’t got anyone that could really stretch a defence.

He strikes me as one of those Calum O’Hare type players. Lots of hype for this league but would he be able to make the step up? Probably not seen enough to say yet. O’Hare was another one we were linked with a year or so ago; and he never kicked on to the Premier League.
