That Werder Bremen link now looks like agent talk. Too similar to Dobbin. I also think that Spanish forward link is bollocks. Fabrizio is a bit of a fraud - he’s been called out in the last year or so.

This entirely regarding Leo Scienza. He is a decent player but my god he’s overrated by so many. He faded massively at times last season, if you want to get out the Championship you need consistency and sometimes someone who brings something different.

He can play anywhere across the three positions behind the striker but has predominantly been a left winger. He would immediately be an upgrade on Sam Edozie or Jay Robinson.

Good signing if we get this over the line. Demonstrates good intentions, also encouraging that we haven’t pissed about looking for some unknown in the Dutch fifth division or something weird like that.

First thought - it’s from The Athletic - I’m surprised they haven’t found a way to slag us off over this deal. Secondly, it doesn’t necessarily mean Leo Scienza if off. Squad depth is needed, and wide players, effective wide players were in short supply last season.

I’d take Dobbin, he’ll go to a top end Championship club, and I could see us paying £10m for him to compete with the likes of Azaz, Matsuki, Fellows and Scienza - it isn’t like we’re flush across all those positions. Edozie wasn’t really trusted enough, but we need direct wide players that are happy to run with the ball. I thought it was interesting that Alfie Devine (Tottenham) signed permanently for Preston for £5m, thought he’d have gone to a bigger club.

Just saw the price! £35!? £35 for a training top! A standard football kit shirt used to cost that the last time I bought one outright! Looks like a plain t-shirt for £4 is what I’ll stick with for five-a-side then. 😂

Quite like Brightons home top. If we had red with white pinstripes that would be different and decent.
