As alluded to elsewhere, we got steam rollered last season playing our normal style with Newcastle playing a direct game cutting out our midfield. Maybe we will be playing a bit more direct as well. The Subs bench is a bit of a worry. If Fonte is still carrying a knock and we've already been told Spiderman isn't match fit, plus Gaston hasn't had a decent run out in a while and a rookie forward and goalie .... AL supersub if needed it is then.

How do you think all the good folk out here feel, having paid up for the full 380 (or whatever it is) EPL games, and get short changed each Saturday? I think it's to do with Area of Coverage each Distrubutor has been given the licence for. I noticed on Saturday a message kept popping up across the bottom of the screen saying Only Authorised for viewing in The Middle East, or something to that effect.

It certainly seems to be kicking in pretty early!! Injuries to key players, two loses, nearly doubling our previous 12 games goals against column in 4 days, 1st home defeat of the season and sliding down the table. Anybody remember when Chris Nicholl won it and we were getting high praise from all quarters for blooding young English talent and playing flowing football and nicely placed in the table ......... followed by a run of 22 games without a win. Lightning can't strike the same place twice can it?

This !! Being a vertically challenged stud muffin (TM Ohio), the last thing I need is a hbunch of arms aloft whankers holding ipads, iphones and cameras resembling a flock of flamingos, blocking my view. Grrrrr. I can understand people wanting to capture the atmosphere for posperity, fine, that can be done with occassional 30 second snapshots. No need to record whole fricking songs. They might as well not bother going to the live gig, just watch it later when some other like minded pr!ck has posted it on You Tube.

Shame if he does go off on loan, especially as now that there aren't any International matches until March (not gospel just quoting somebody else!!), that has seen him jetting off around the globe for WC qualifiers every 2 weeks or so!! A good chance to get himself sorted out and establish himself back into the squad. Lots of matches coming up next month where injuries and suspensions could kick in pretty fast. Lets remember he didn't do the pre season warm up with us and due to injury and WC duty has barely had anytime to train with us week in week out. an uninterrupted run of training with us might get him up to speed. Blue line, fresh start for me. If by Jan, still no improvement proceed with loan / sell, but it would be foolish to go ahead until we can geta replacement in.
