  1. http://www.valthorens.com/winter-en/val-thorens/activities-and-entertainment/sports-activities/toboggan.92.html Great fun and even late season just about snow sure BUT .... late Mar / Early april is Easter and Val Thorens doesn't come cheap!!! It is a quality resort, Europes highest Pub Frog and Roast Beef or something like that, several bars that show Prem football and gillette sports saturday (or what ever its called) with MLT. A few doors down from The Frog we found the Viking Bar (managed by a Bradford fan at the time) very good for the footie. Skiing wise it is in The 3 Valleys Ski Area - which includes Courcheval, Meribel and many other areas.
  2. I see one of the conditions of Bail is a ban on alcohol. Don't want him getting legless again.
  3. TSK .... looks like the translator got this bit wrong - we all know for a FACT that Nasty Nic picks the team
  4. Tut Tut 110% - everything but the Nip. Pay attention.
  5. i've seen a preview of some rehearsals
  6. I guess an ASBO Tag would be a waste of time, he's probably got loads of spare blades, legs etc to suit all occassions.
  7. Definitely in the "Im going straight to hell for laughing at that joke'" category.
  8. From my school days in Eastleigh, I would do all that I could to avoid my kids from going to Alderman Quilley Secondary Modern (Approved) School. Hopefully it is better now than it was in The 70's. Grade A dump.
  9. And so .... The 6.53 Crew is born
  10. Maybe not outside the immediate confines of Southampton, but I'd rather have him than some half wit daytime TV nonentity at a local function, or more importantly at an SFC Corporate Hospitality day.
  11. Keep it, your bound to find (or get found by) a warm cosy Geordie Bird to keep you company.
  12. Hey Tokes - Post #12 - won't quote it as it is so big, but is that sticky tape or a dried up Pearl Necklace she is wearin"?
  13. Difficult. Basically his actions denied us a proper send off for Ossie - don't think he played again after that game (not at The Dell anyway. In an age in which cynical behaviour to get other players booked or even sent off (not an easy thing in those days) was rarely seen in England except in European Games and Internationals, he was involved in incidents which I think it was 4 players booked and 2 sent off for us. Obviously poor discipline on our behalf, but it must take something to get so many players to react in that way. He got his come-uppance though in the return match. We thumped them 5-0 and the abuse he got from all parts of the ground, not only the vocal Lads types but even granny's on the sidelines were giving him ferocious grief led to him being subbed if I remember rightly!! It didn't stop there, years later when he was playing for Everton he got the same treatment much to the bemusement of the Everton fans who didn't have a scooby what it was for!! You could say he did his time, and at this particular time I wish him all the best in a speedy recovery and no more ill feelings, but forgive, sorry NO.
  14. They'd be a bit screwed if they did that with this seasons away kit (the supposedly 3rd choice Yellow shirt, but only realistic alternative option to our Red kit!!)LOL. Not available all season WTF?
  15. I wish ..... but work means i can't
  16. Tsk .... just when you were playing so nicely
  17. Where have all the Pompey fans gone, asks Durham? If you follow the news, you would know that they have been busy putting together a package to save their club. You would know that thanks to the efforts of the Portsmouth Supporters Trust, the Football League are so impressed by the business plan they have put toegtehr that they will not deal with anyone else in the saga to buy the club. you would also know that thousands have pledged their onw cash to take a share in the PST. That even though Pompey are bottom of table, they still manage to get the second highest attendances in League One. And that once the waters - that are being deliberately muddied by unscrupulous outsiders - have cleared, many more will flock back to Fratton Park and pledge their cash to the PST. Perhaps Durham should learn to read a newspaper or find out how to turn on the radio. - Dinksy, Torbay, United Kingdom, 19/2/2013 10:31 This has to be one of us doesn't it? Surely?
  18. Flash in the pan rather than dominance over a sustained period of time.
  19. Exactly my feeling too. As much as i hate the sight and sound of the gum munching red nosed git, you can't have anything but total admiration for what he has acheived in seeing off all contenders from Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelski and now Man City. Also not afraid to show that NO player is bigger than the club in his dealings with the likes of SparkyHughes, Beckham, Stam, Van Nistleroy and Ronaldo amongst others, by getting rid of them even though they were still at the top of their game. I am amazed that Man U are running away with the league this season, I don't think they've ever gone behind in so many games before, yet come back and win without looking as convincing as they used to. Rest of the challengers not up to it, too many foreign mercenaries? Man U teams have always had a good % of hoe grown players. Also all things considered, compared to all the other teams bar arsenal (and look where they are!!) they haven't chucked money at it in a Man C / Chelski way. One or 2 marquee big transfers a year, more often or not offset by a big incoming fee for an out going star. PS Fergie saying we were the bestest team to play at Old trafford this season, a few weeks ago, has nothing to do with any of this!!
  20. And if she's a fitty leave us your home address details!!
  21. The investment banker trying to buy Pompey has revealed he will buy Fratton Park within a year, if his Pompey takeover is successful. ‘I want to have it. I do not live in a rented property myself. I believe in ownership, an Englishman’s home is his castle. Fortress Fatpipes should have a nice ring to his new home then!!
  22. Asked why he was not seeking to buy the ground immediately, Mr Harris said: ‘I believe in being commercially sound and it’s my decision to evaluate the ground situation over a short period of time before buying it. ‘I don’t want to get in there and find all sorts of holes, metaphorically speaking He won't find many holes that's for sure - they are all clogged up with fat !!!
  23. You were lucky, The Eastleigh Nudist Rambler wasn't so fortunate .... http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/10227482.Naked_Rambler_supports_Lib_Dems_in_by_election/?ref=mmsp
  24. I refuse to answer the question as I object to being called an older poster!! It does amuse me though to see Liverpool wallowing in mid table though!!
  25. I'm with you there. A double taxation on fags to enable cheaper booze would be a far better policy!!
