The Bally and Lawrie dream team got off to a flyer winning at Newcastle, a dubious ref costing us a defeat at Oldham but then the gloriously triumphant home coming on Sky TV with the Valentines Day Massacre of Liverpool 4-2 in the snow. Many years ago I did the Olympic Run they had used in Crans Montana. It was in Blizzard conditions and a lunchtime bottle of red been necked, whilst sheltering from an almighty storm. When we took off our ski (nearly jester) hats they were frozen to the shape of our heads and had barely defrosted hours later!! I think the pros did it in about 3 mins, took us just over an hour LOL. No speed records broken that day, unless we qualify for the slowest ever!!

Maybe it's our turn to exact revenge on the 5-1 Cup defeat! 76 semi final v Palarse was y other visit. Happy Days indeed. Contact wasn't made but it certainly would have been had JRod not avoiuded it. Don't think he was trying to con the ref. Don't think it was a pen or an intentional dive. Just wished it had happened at Old Trafford in a few weeks to give us a 1-0 win and send Fergie into an apoplexic fit!!
