The Greens are the only credible left wing party, they have focused on a living wage and taxing the rich, filling a gap labour have missed.

Plus compared to 10-20 years ago almost every adult has a car rather than one to a family.

Seems to me all the youth vote has switched from Lib Dems to Greens (after Clegg's perceived betrayl) hence their surge in membership. Unfortunately due to our voting system they could get 10% of the vote and still only get a couple of members.
