For all we know Cortese gave him a really nice back massage before breaking the news to him. Then he cooked up some lovely pasta, and wrote a large severance, cheque and sent him off to a 5* resort in the carribean with two sky sports girls. He should very given Nige until the summer. But I think the that Nige will cope fine with what has happened. More so than quite a few fans who are in tears as we speak.
